What a weekend it was at Three Springs 2023! 🚗💨 We’ve been through the highest of highs and some challenging lows, but the thrill of off-road racing never disappoints. Let’s relive the journey:
💫Prologue Prowess: We kicked the weekend off strong, securing a top 10 spot during the prologue. Even with an electrical fault limiting our speed, our determination shone through.
🛠Adversity Strikes: In the final race, we proudly led the class from the start. The taste of victory was oh so sweet! We were ready for more. But as they say, racing can be unpredictable. With just 30km to go disaster stuck. We snapped the centre driveshaft and our exhaust melted off the turbo.
🧯Stopping for Safety: With safety being our main priority we stopped not once, not twice but 5 times to check for fire from the exhaust. A testament to our commitment to each others wellbeing!
💦 Water Dispenser Innovation: With no other option, we turned our water dispensers into a makeshift fire suppression system. Every drop counted as we covered the last 20km to the finish line.
🏁 Determined Finish: Giving up was never an option! We took it slow and steady, as there was no way we we’re going to DNF (do not finish)
Despite our challenges, our love for Three Springs and everyone involved in this incredible adventure remains unwavering. We can’t wait for next year!
