2 weeks of break and we are back open!

After a busy year, time to relax and recharge was veeerrrryy needed!

A trip to Tassie, a music festival, time spent with friends and family, beach days, knitting/crocheting, yoga, sleep ins and time with the doggos 💛🍃🧶

So grateful to have a booked out first program for 2026. I’ll be opening spaces for our next program (March) in a few weeks times, so keep an eye out if you would like to join our wholesome little gym community 🫶🏼

In the meantime, I’ll be on here occasionally to show you all some behind the scenes of what’s going on at FEF and any potential training opportunities that we may have available 🏋🏽‍♀️

Hope you all have had an amazing Chrissy/New Year 💞

And just like that, I’m back 💛🦋

There’s so much information out there to help you improve your health and fitness that sometimes it can be hard to know what’s the right thing to be doing!

My non-negotiable’s as a trainer and someone looking to improve their overall health and fitness for longevity 🤍

🥬Greens powders shouldn’t replace eating leafy greens. They are there to help you increase your greens intake IF you can’t get it from your current diet and WHILE you learn how to implement more greens into your diet

😴Caffeine doesn’t replace your recommend 7+ hours sleep. Yes, it’s a great tool to use to help you out if you have excessive fatigue BUT use it temporarily while you fix your current sleep hygiene.

🥩Protein bars/powders don’t replace protein from a whole food source. Again, these are great to use IF you can’t get it from your current diet and WHILE you learn how to implement more protein into your diet

🥗Meal replacement shakes/pre-packaged meals don’t replace a well balanced meal. Again, use them TEMPORARILY (if you have to) while you learn how to implement well balanced meals into your diet

💦Soft drinks/tea/coffee don’t replace water. Your recommendation of roughly 2-2.5L per day (depending on the individual) should come from water! Have a soft drink/tea/coffee for enjoyment but don’t replace/include it in your water intake for the day

🏋🏽‍♀️Reformer/Pilates/yoga/stretching doesn’t replace weight training. All go hand in hand to increase physical activity and overall strength and mobility/flexibility, however weight training needs to be incorporated to help maintain/build muscle mass, improve bone mass and boost your metabolism.

🏃‍♀️Walking doesn’t replace low heart rate training. Walking is great for our mental and physical health, however getting in 60mins-180mins of low heart rate training (120-150bpm, depending on the person) per week is ideal for cardiovascular health and minimising the risk of preventative diseases.

5 ingredient protein bars using protein ball mixes!
We stock these mixes, along with their bars. I love using theirs products because not only do they taste great, they use whole food ingredients that are good for you!

These have been great to have in the freezer, are quick to mix up and are a balanced snack with no hidden nasties!

Recipe slightly adapted from

You’ll need:
1x Sneaky Wholefoods Marshmallow Choc Biscuit Protein Ball mix
80g protein powder (I used white wolf)
200g Greek yoghurt
80g dark chocolate
20g coconut oil

Directions:
Mix together protein ball mix with protein powder. Add yoghurt and mix to combine. Pop in a mould/tray and freeze until set.
Melt together chocolate and coconut oil. Drizzle over bars and pop in freezer until set.
Cut into 8 pieces. Store in the freezer and grab out 5 minutes before eating to allow to soften!

A carousel post to help you nail using straps 🏋🏽‍♀️

Your legs/back are so much stronger than your grip and that shouldn’t be the limiting factor when lifting!

A strong grip is great (and is an indicator of a longer lifespan) but train it accordingly with moves such as farmers carries, deadhangs, plate pinches etc.

Save this to refer to in your next gym sess 👀

Client testimonials from some of those who have been training with us in classes over the past 2 programs.

I’ve really been enjoying the smaller, more intimate vibe that our new space has created and I’m so happy to see clients loving it too!

Our next program intake is now open, with the start date of June 16th! The link for sign ups is either in our story or across in our bio 💛

We will also have online programs available for those who want to train remotely!! I’ve been testing out this program over the last week and I’ve been loving it!

Ever wondered why/when you might sort out a PT? Or maybe wondered what we train for here at Four Element Fitness?

I’ve put together what a few of my clients have been training for over the past month or so!

I love the diversity I have with the clients I train! The mix of performance based goals along with rehab, nutrition and mental health is what I really thrive off helping train for!
The ability to train clients in person and online is something that I also enjoy as it allows for more freedom for both me and my clients!

If you’ve been thinking about training with me, shoot me an email and we can see if we are a good fit!
