Hawkesdale campdraft done and dusted, another great weekend down.

Mamba came 6th in the encouragement on Friday with a different jockey.

Royal Park Avalanche had her second weekend drafting and I couldn’t be happier with how she has taken it all in. So many similarities to her dad!

And Cool As An Acre came equal 4th in the Midfield Open draft on Sunday.

Thankyou to the committee, volunteers, event sponsors, Alanvale for the cattle, and Boyles transport.

Lovely natured gelding. Will be ready to break in at the end of the year. Suit campdrafting or would make a good sales prospect.

Cool As An Acres oldest progeny are now hitting the campdraft arena, they are proving to be well minded horses with lots of cow sense.

We have done this cross multiple times and they have always been such a pleasure to work with.

Another great weekend spent at WDCA Macarthur campdraft.

Cool As An Acre made the ladies and Novice final.

Royalpark Avalanche who is by Cool As An Acre had her first campdraft start and happened to make the maiden final on Sunday.

Such a great weekend, a big thankyou goes to everyone involved in running these events.

We had a great weekend at Hamilton Campdraft, it was so nice to have a local draft back on the calendar.

Cool As An Acre made the open Final on Saturday but the highlight of our weekend was Narley black Mamba who won the Drover AG Novice on Sunday.
Also winning the Thistlehill Australian Stockhorses- ASH highpoint Award for the novice.

Royalpark Atlantic Ice at Nutrien Classic 🤩

Not sure if that was confidence, attitude, or a personal message but I feel seen.😆
Big effort, big run, leaving the arena on a beautiful loose rein, lined up for a lovely head shot and cheeky little horse, looks down the lens.......and poked his tongue out at me.🤣

Home from a nice weekend away drafting at Keith.

We were pretty slow going on the Friday/Saturday but managed to get one through on Booma in the novice on Sunday and came away with a 5th place out of 204 competitors.

But highlight of the weekend was watching Royalpark Atlantic Ice and Kaylah Lyons making the open AND novice final.
Icy was sold through the Classic this year by David Murphy and has really taken to the whole draft scene, with only a handful of drafts under her belt.
She is also the oldest progeny we have bred by Cool As An Acre.

A huge shoutout to the committee, sponsors and cattle donors for hosting such a great draft.
