The Under 13 Girls, Senior Women and Senior Men are all ready to step up and represent the Plovers when it matters most.

While some of our Plovers wrapped up their campaigns, others are enjoying a well-deserved week off before finals kick into gear.

It’s been an incredible season across all our groups from the kids building the clubs foundations to our senior teams fighting hard every week. It’s the perfect time to reflect, recharge the batteries, and take stock of what’s been a fantastic year… so far.

What a Sunday of soccer last weekend! Our Plovers showed up and showed out across all age groups, playing with passion and in fantastic spirit. Here’s how we went:

SENIOR MEN - An intense battle against league-leading Warrnambool Rangers. Our defence put in a massive shift, keeping the Rangers at bay and preventing them from finding the back of the net more often. That solidity allowed our forwards to execute a strong counter-attacking game, and we grabbed a draw with the last kick of the match. A crucial point earned through hard work and tactical discipline.

UNDER 14s - Tough loss but a heart full of effort. 2-3 to W’Bool Wolves in a hard-fought battle.

UNDER 12s - What a performance! 3-2 victory over W’Bool Wolves! The young class are on point!

A standout performance from our Senior Women, who backed up weeks of consistent, quality football with a hard-fought 2-1 away win over The Wolves. Well deserved.

Mixed bag in the juniors - the Under 14s came up short against a strong Grampians side, the Under 13 Girls fought out a solid draw with The Rangers, and the Under 12s were clinical in a 4-1 win over Grampians.

Full round of results are in! Wins, draws, and everything in between, but the scoreboard only tells half the story.

Massive shoutout to our Under 14s. Copping a tough one last weekend, but they turned up, fought hard and gave it everything from first whistle to last. That’s what this club is built on — heart, resilience and never giving up on your teammates, no matter the score.
