Fishing report after today’s competition. Quite a few Salmon and trevally along with a couple of bream caught by Barry and Garth over 1kg in the Moyne and a few salmon flathead rock cod and pinky snapper were caught offshore. H/fish land was Barry 1.302kg Bream, h/bag land was Russell with trevally and salmon 1.878, h/fish boat was Kraig cod 1.058kg, and Rohan had the h/bag boat cod flathead and snapper 3.772kg. Hopefully we see you tomorrow afternoon for the presentation of last season’s trophies.

A bit late but there is a fishing comp this Saturday, Port Fairy only. Start 8am and weigh in at 3pm at the clubhouse. Also the Presentation day is this Sunday from 3pm.

Port Fairy angling club fishing report after today’s competition. Good fish were scarce however Barry and Leigh managed 5 excellent bream between them other than that there was a few couta and salmon weighed in. H/bag land was Barry 3 bream 2.984kg, h/fish land was Geordie 828grms couta, h/fish boat Mark 652 bream and Danny had the h/bag boat salmon and couta. Also we retained the RAMSHEAD shield against Yambuk and huge thanks to Leigh and Kraig for doing the bbq 🍖 and this was the last competition for this season.

Port Fairy angling club fishing report after today’s fishing competition. Fishing was pretty good at Yambuk for bream, Leigh caught bream to a kilo in the Moyne, a few couta were also caught in the Moyne, Roger caught some nice salmon in the surf and new member Buddy caught a nice pinky snapper in the bay, h/bag juniors Buddy a snapper 674 grams, h/bag land was Roger salmon 1.994kg, h/fish land was Leigh a bream 1.016kg, h/bag boat Mark 2.772 kg bream and Rohan had the h/fish boat 610 gram bream. Please note we have a WORKING BEE next Sunday at the clubhouse 10am start if we get a good turn up it won’t take too long so if you can make it that would be fantastic.

Port Fairy angling club fishing report after today’s weigh in. Yambuk lake produced some nice bream and the Hopkins yielded plenty of bream but many undersized and the Moyne was the stand out with bream to 1.430 kg which was released well done Barry who is on a hot streak at the moment as he also won the Easter fishing competition conducted by the Warrnambool angling club a couple of weeks ago. H/bag land was Barry 4.942 kg 5 bream, h/fish land was Geordie 1.002 kg bream, h/bag boat Mark 2.016 bream and h/fish boat was Danny 908 gram bream.

Port Fairy angling club fishing report after the weekend’s competition. Good snapper from the north shore at Portland, a few trevally, whiting, snapper, mullet, and salmon caught at Port Fairy. Also the Moyne and Hopkins producing bream to 1.2kg and Mulloway to 3kg, Yambuk was also good for bream, h/fish boat was Sue a trevally 684grms, h/bag boat Danny snapper and mackerel 2.212kg. H/bag land was Mark 7.256kg bream and Mulloway and Barry had the h/fish bream 694grms . Next competition is April 18/19th.
