🎾✨ Very, very well deserved, Bev! ✨🎾

A huge congratulations to Bev Gwynne from Mossman Tennis Club on being recognised by Tennis Queensland as part of their new initiative celebrating the incredible volunteers who help make tennis possible across our communities! 👏❤️

We couldn’t think of anyone more deserving. Bev does so much for tennis in our local community, in particular, the work Bev does with our juniors is absolutely incredible. She is always encouraging the next generation, creating opportunities for kids to get involved and helping foster a real love of tennis from a young age. 🎾🥰

We are so lucky to have Bev as part of our local tennis community and are incredibly grateful for everything she does.

Congratulations, Bev — this recognition is very, very well deserved! ❤️👏

🎾 CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS – FINALS DAY TOMORROW! 🏆

What a fantastic start to this year's Club Championships! A huge thank you to everyone who has competed and supported the tournament so far. We've seen some incredible tennis, with plenty of close matches, exciting tie-breakers, and a great standard of play across the board.

🏅 Finals Day is tomorrow (Sunday)!
Play gets underway from 8:30am with the Men's Singles Semi Finals, before we crown our 2026 Club Champions throughout the day. Be sure to check out the schedule so you don't miss your favourite matches.

🍔 Canteen Open All Day
We'll once again be running our canteen, with plenty of food, cold drinks, and icy cold beers available while you enjoy a fantastic day of tennis.

💰 100 Board Raffle Draw
The raffle will be drawn during the afternoon, so this is your last chance to grab a square for your chance to win up to $400 in prize money!

👏 We'd love to see a big crowd at the club tomorrow. Our finalists have earned their place, and there's nothing better than playing a final in front of a great group of supporters.

🎾 Club Championships Weekend is Here! 🏆

The wait is over—our 2026 Port Douglas Tennis Club Championships get underway this afternoon and continue right through to Finals Day on Sunday!

Come down to the club and cheer on our members as they battle it out for this year's Club Champion titles. We wish all of our competitors the very best of luck and can't wait to see some fantastic tennis over the weekend! 💪🎾

🌭 Canteen Open All Weekend
Our club canteen will be running throughout the weekend with food and refreshments available, so come along, grab a bite to eat, and support the club while enjoying the action.

🎟️ 100 Square Raffle Draw
Don't forget, our 100 Square Raffle will be drawn on Sunday during Finals Day! Good luck to everyone who grabbed a square—you could be taking home up to $400 in prize money! 💰

It's not too late to get involved! Squares will still be available for purchase throughout the weekend, so see one of our committee members to secure your lucky square before the draw.

Whether you're playing, supporting family and friends, or just love a great day of tennis, we'd love to see you at the courts this weekend.

🎾 We're Back at the Tin Shed Raffle Tonight! 🎾

Looking for an excuse to kick off your Friday night? Come down to the Tin Shed and help support the Port Douglas Tennis Club!

Every ticket sold helps support our club, so we'd love to see our members, families and supporters there.

🕠 Tickets on sale: From 5:30pm
🎟 Raffle drawn: 6:30pm

There are plenty of great prizes up for grabs, so bring your friends, grab a drink, enjoy dinner and try your luck in the raffle.

As part of our 2026 Port Douglas Tennis Club Championships, we're running a 100 Square Raffle Board with the winner to be drawn on Club Championships Finals Day – Sunday, 26th July 2026!

🎟 How to Enter:
✅ See one of our PDTC Committee Members to purchase a square
✅ Squares are just $10 each
✅ Half squares are available for $5 (but you'll share any prize money won!)
✅ Squares will be sold at social tennis nights and throughout the Club Championships weekend
✅ Join us on Finals Day to see if your number is the lucky winner!

💵 Prize Pool
The more squares sold, the bigger the prize pool – with up to $400 in prize money up for grabs!

📅 Winner Drawn: Sunday, 26th July 2026 at the Club Championships Finals.

Any unsold squares at the time of the draw will automatically belong to the Port Douglas Tennis Club.
