Vinyasa flow Yoga is a dynamic class where we aim to strengthen, stretch and make us more flexible. While working out our body we will focus on the control of our mind. Learning how to enjoy the relationship with the own body, how we are, what we can do and what we can’t, but mostly, what we may do to be the best version of us.

Today I received this photo, taken by the incredibly talented Валерия Валерьевна, one of my classmates from the 200 YTT I completed in Rishikesh last March.

Looking back now, with a little time having passed, it almost feels magical that she was the very first person I met when I arrived in India. We shared a taxi from Delhi to Rishikesh on our way to the school. We were both excited about the unknown, spending those five hours talking about ourselves, getting to know each other a little. We had both been travelling for hours, running on very little sleep, but full of excitement.

I still remember that mix of emotions, knowing I was once again stepping into something completely new.

This photo was taken the day after we finished the course.

Twenty-four days shared with 21 other classmates from different parts of the world, all with different stories and different life experiences.

Twenty-four magical days.

Days of sore muscles. Days of exhaustion. Days of learning. Days filled with conversations, birthdays along the way, delicious cakes, and so many moments shared together. Days of laughter—the kind that makes your stomach hurt and tears roll down your face.

New friendships. New connections. New experiences.

That day, we had moved into a different place just a few minutes from the school where we had lived through all of those memories together.

My heart was so full that day. Overflowing with happiness. There was a little bit of nostalgia too, because it had all come to an end, but more than anything, I felt grateful and happy for everything I had experienced.

And thank you to myself, for once again finding the courage to chase my dreams ✨️

Hi everyone! I'm Belu, and I'd love to invite you to join the yoga classes I'm offering this year.

I teach Vinyasa Flow Yoga, a dynamic style of yoga that helps build strength, endurance, and flexibility through mindful breathing and body awareness.

My goal is to help you create a strong, resilient, and more connected body so you can feel healthier in your everyday life—especially if you work in hospitality, where your body does a lot of the hard work. These classes are a space to strengthen your body while also releasing the tension and stress that naturally build up.

No experience is needed! The classes are designed for complete beginners as well as people who already have a regular yoga practice.

And if you've tried yoga before and thought, "Yoga isn't for me," I'd still encourage you to give it another go. There are as many styles of yoga as there are people—maybe this one will be the right fit for you.

• Fridays – 7:00 am at Port Douglas Yoga Studio
• Tuesdays – 6:00 pm at Yoga in the Tropics

Yesterday was International Yoga Day, and we shared a beautiful morning together with our community at Port Douglas Yoga Studio 🕉yoga ☮️hatha ☯️yin🕉meditation

I finished the day with a heart full of gratitude and love. Grateful for the energy we shared, for the incredible teachers who were part of the event, and for the opportunity to listen, learn, and be inspired by one another. There is always something new to learn.

It was also so special to connect and share this experience with everyone who joined us.

My wish is that every person has the opportunity to experience the benefits of yoga. Not only the physical ones, but what lies beyond them: connection, love, understanding, compassion, and inner peace.

The more we practice, the more we cultivate these qualities within ourselves.

Happy International Yoga Day to everyone who has been part of my journey. From my very first teacher, Cele Campos Bona , to all the teachers who have inspired, supported, and nourished my path, thank you.

And happy Yoga Day to all who practice, and especially to my students, past and present. Thank you for allowing me to share this path with you.

I’m excited to be returning to Port Douglas Yoga every Friday at 7:00 AM for an energising Vinyasa Flow practice.

These classes are designed to help you move, breathe, build strength, improve mobility, and start your day feeling grounded, refreshed, and full of energy.

Each practice offers space to move, breathe, challenge yourself when it feels right, and slow down when you need it. You'll leave feeling stronger, more connected, and ready to take on the day.
