Was a lovely morning at Port Augusta today for parkrun #378. We had visitors from Edithburgh, Torquay, Barrossa Valley and Adelaide with 2 people participating in their first parkrun. A big shout out to Adrian who completed his 250th parkrun; also Edith (a stalwart of out volunteer pool) completed her 150th volunteer today and Robert his 1st volunteering position. Big thank you to all.
Today we had 68 participants of whom 2 had PB's and 6 were first time participants to parkrun Port Augusta.

'Frenchman on the run', Eddie Tchigique, will be running through Port Augusta tomorrow, Monday 31/8/26. He is raising money for to support families facing childhood cancer.
He is covering 100km per day. He started out on 9/8/26 from Cottesloe Beach WA and is planning to run to Bondi in 38 days, a total of 3,900km.
Google him and follow his journey. It would be great if some runners from could join him to provide some support when running through tomorrow.
