Crystal-clear water, calm conditions, and unforgettable encounters beneath the surface.

This season, our dive sites are alive with sea turtles — from hawksbills weaving effortlessly through the reef to green turtles gliding past in the blue. And if luck is on your side, you may even spot a leatherback moving through deeper water.

There’s something grounding about sharing a moment with these incredible animals in their natural environment — unhurried, graceful, and completely at home in the ocean.

DRY SUIT DEMO DAY

Yesterday we had the pleasure of hosting our annual Dry Suit Demo Day — an ideal opportunity for divers to experience the transition into dry diving with confidence.

Winter brings a unique refinement to our local waters: cooler temperatures, outstanding visibility, and truly memorable marine life encounters. As conditions settle into the 18–20°C range, thermal comfort becomes an important part of the overall dive experience — and a well-fitted dry suit makes all the difference.

Guests had the opportunity to trial a curated selection of premium dry suits from Santi Diving and Fourth Element, experiencing firsthand the performance, fit, and comfort these systems offer.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to such a seamless and enjoyable day in the water.

DRY SUIT DEMO DAY - TOMORROW

Winter diving brings a different kind of clarity to our waters — cooler temperatures, exceptional visibility, and remarkable marine life encounters.

For many, the shift to 18–20°C conditions is where comfort becomes a consideration. A well-fitted dry suit changes that experience entirely.

On 2 May, we’re hosting a Dry Suit Demo Day at Dunwich Pool. This is an opportunity to experience a range of premium dry suits from and in the water, and understand what extended, comfortable diving can feel like through the cooler months.

9am-2pm

We’ll be joined by .ccr for professional fittings and custom measurements, ensuring your configuration is tailored correctly from the outset.

A considered setup means more time below, with greater comfort and control.

TEAM MANTA UPDATE

As a team, we are immensely grateful that Saturday's events had a happy ending, with both divers being successfully recovered after a 21-hour search and rescue operation.

Our heartfelt thanks go to the organisations involved in the rescue, including AMSA, Queensland Water Police, Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service, Surf Life Saving, MSQ, and the Coast Guard.

To Dan and Stu, we have no doubt that your mental resilience, coupled with your training and equipment, was what brought you home safely. We are all in awe of how you stayed positive and worked together as a team, embodying the best values as dive buddies.

Finally, we want to thank the locals of North Stradbroke Island and our wider Manta Dive community, who rallied to support the efforts to bring our friends home - we are truly humbled by everyone’s kindness.
