Spring has arrived, so I want to know...

If you could achieve ONE thing for yourself over the next few months, what would it be?

Would you love to:

🌼 Lose some centimetres and feel more comfortable in your summer clothes?
πŸ’ͺ Feel stronger?
πŸƒ Improve your fitness?
⚑ Have more energy?
πŸ’š Or simply get back into a healthy routine?

Pop your letter in the comments below β€” A, B, C, D, E or the very popular F! πŸ˜‚πŸ‘‡

And if you're reading the list thinking...

"Yes Carolyn, I want all of that, but I have absolutely no idea how to get started!"

That's where I can help.

I have a small number of Personal Training opportunities in my Point Cook studio, or via zoom if you are not local, or if time and convenience are your biggest challenges, you can join my 30-minute live Zoom Group Fitness classes from home.

You don't need to spend hours exercising.

You DO need a game plan, consistency and sometimes a coach in your corner keeping you accountable.

If you'd like to know which option might suit you, send me a private message with the word SPRING and we can have a chat. Or for even more convenience, you can choose a time in my calendar for a chat by clicking on this link.

CLIENT SUCCESS πŸ’š

Getting started was the hardest part. Then momentum took over.

I want to introduce you to Melissa.

When she started training with me, she was unhappy and not confident with her body, struggling to find time for herself and wanted to feel better in her clothes.

She didn't suddenly change everything.

Instead, we focused on consistency.
She started training 2 times each week.
She worked on mindful eating and cutting out processed snacks.
And most importantly, she kept showing up - even when she wasn't feeling particularly motivated.

Since then, she's lost over 40cm, almost 20kg, she's happy again and her clothes are fitting better - plus she's stronger than ever

But one of my favourite changes has been that her new habits have stuck and her mindful eating is still going strong, while she understands it's not about being perfect all the time, it's about doing what is healthy and what works with her lifestyle.

That's what getting "back in the game" looks like.

You don't need to be fit before you start.
You don't need to have everything figured out.
And you certainly don't need to be perfect.
Sometimes you just need to make that first decision...
I'm ready to do something for ME.
And then keep taking the next small step. πŸ’š

Well done, Melissa. I'm incredibly proud of what you've achieved and can't wait to see more as we continue the journey.

WEEK 1 β€” GET BACK IN THE GAME

Three months of winter can do funny things to our healthy habits.

We move a little less.
The couch becomes VERY inviting.
Comfort food creeps in more often.
And some of those routines we had at the beginning of the year quietly disappear.

But spring is here tomorrow, and this is your opportunity to reset.
And when I say RESET, I don't mean:

❌ Going on a restrictive diet.
❌ Training every day.
❌ Cutting out everything you enjoy.
❌ Trying to lose as much weight as possible, as quickly as possible.

I'd much rather you start with a few things you can actually maintain.

🌼 Move your body regularly.
🌼 Get outside and enjoy the extra daylight and sunshine.
🌼 Add strength training to your week.
🌼 Prioritise protein and nourishing foods.
🌼 Drink your water.
🌼 Get back into a regular routine.

If you'd like to lose some centimetres and have your summer clothes fitting more comfortably, you don't need to hate your body into changing.

You can work towards change AND appreciate the body you have right now.

That's the kind of progress I want for the women I coach.

So forget trying to change everything this week.
Pick ONE thing.
Get started.
And get yourself back in the game. πŸ‰πŸ’š

September means two things in Melbourne...

🌼 Spring is here!
πŸ‰ And it's Finals time!

So this month, I'm bringing the two together with my September Finals Series.

Think about the teams playing finals this month.

They didn't wake up in September and suddenly decide to get fit, get stronger and start working towards their goal.

They've been training.
They've had good weeks and bad weeks.
They've had setbacks.
They've needed a game plan.
They've relied on their teammates and coaches.
And most importantly... they kept showing up.

Our health and fitness goals aren't really that different.

If you'd love to head towards summer feeling stronger, fitter and more energetic, or have those summer clothes fitting a little more comfortably, NOW is the time to start working towards it.

Not December.
Not "when life settles down."

Now.

Throughout September, I'll be sharing tips, education, client stories and a little bit of fun to help you create your own winning season.

πŸ‰ Week 1 – Get Back in the Game

πŸ‰ Week 2 – Build Your Game Plan

πŸ‰ Week 3 – Stay in the Game

πŸ† Week 4 – Your Winning Season

No crash diets.
No obsession with the scales.
No punishment workouts.

Just realistic strategies to help you feel healthier, stronger and more confident in YOUR body.

Are you ready to get back in the game? πŸ’š

Spring is almost here...

Longer days.
Warmer weather.
Fresh starts.

Before we say goodbye to winter, I'd love to know...

Finish this sentence:

🌼 "This spring I want to feel..."

Maybe it's:

✨ Stronger.
✨ More energetic.
✨ More confident.
✨ Healthier.
✨ Happier.

Or perhaps your answer is something completely different.

Share your answer in the comments - I can't wait to read them!

And if you've been thinking about making yourself a priority, let this be your reminder...

You don't have to do it alone.

Whether it's personal training in my Point Cook studio or joining my friendly Zoom fitness community from home, I'd love to help you head into Spring feeling stronger, healthier and more confident.

Here's to a wonderful Spring ahead! πŸŒΌπŸ’š

One of the things I love most about coaching women is watching their definition of success change.

A client recently said to me...

"I've stopped obsessing over the scales because I can actually feel how much healthier I am."

And she was right.

She was:

βœ” Training consistently.
βœ” Sleeping better.
βœ” Feeling stronger.
βœ” Moving with more confidence.
βœ” Having more energy throughout the day.
βœ” Feeling proud of herself again.

The number on the scales hadn't changed as quickly as she'd hoped...

But her life had.
And her body shape had changed too.

That's why I encourage my clients to celebrate all the wins, not just the ones measured in kilograms.

Because confidence...
Strength...
Energy...
And feeling good in your own skin...

They're worth celebrating too.

What has been your biggest non-scale win this year?

I'd love to hear it. πŸ’š

Can you believe we're almost at the end of winter?

For many women, this time of year brings pressure to "get ready for spring."

But instead of asking...

"How much weight can I lose?"

I'd love you to ask yourself a different question...

"How do I want to feel?"

Maybe your answer is:

πŸ’š More energetic.
πŸ’š Stronger.
πŸ’š Healthier.
πŸ’š More confident.
πŸ’š Less sore and stiff.
πŸ’š More in control of your health.

Those are the goals that truly matter.

Because when you focus on how you want to feel, healthy habits become something you do for yourself, not something you punish yourself with.

Spring isn't about looking perfect.

It's about feeling like the best version of you.

And the best time to start isn't Monday...
It isn't next month...
It's today.

One healthy choice at a time.
Fitness. Health. Happiness.

Let's have a little Friday fun!

Complete this sentence...

✨ "If I had more energy, I'd..."

Maybe you'd...

🌿 Go for more walks.
🌿 Keep up with the kids or grandkids.
🌿 Spend more time in the garden.
🌿 Travel.
🌿 Take up a new hobby.
🌿 Finally join a gym or fitness class.

Or maybe it's something completely different!

I'd love to know...

Finish the sentence in the comments below. πŸ‘‡

One of the biggest things I hear from women is that they simply don't have enough energy.

The interesting part?

Regular movement and strength training are actually two of the best ways to improve your energy over time.

Sometimes the thing that feels hardest to start is the very thing your body needs most.

Let's inspire each other... what's something you'd love to have more energy for?

One of my clients recently shared something that made me smile.

She said...

"I was carrying bags in from the supermarket the other day and realised I wasn't struggling anymore."

No dramatic before-and-after photo.

No huge weight loss announcement.

Just one of those quiet moments where she realised...

"Wow... I'm actually stronger."

Those are the victories I love celebrating.

Because strength isn't just about lifting weights in the gym.
It's about carrying your groceries with confidence.
It's about getting out of a chair easily.
It's about walking upstairs without thinking twice.
It's about feeling capable.

These are the changes that improve your quality of life every single day.

Sometimes the biggest transformations aren't the ones you can see.

They're the ones you can feel.

What everyday task has become easier for you since you've become more active?

I'd love to hear your wins in the comments. πŸ’š
