🔴⚪️ Girls Victorian Youth Premier League Coaches Required

We’re looking for passionate and committed coaches to join our GVYPL U15 & Pre-GVYPL U12 Girls Programs for the 2027 season.

As our female program continues to grow and evolve, 2027 is shaping up to be an exciting year, with the changes to the CPL league structure to GVYPL, expected to create even more coaching opportunities across our pathway.

Whether you’re an experienced coach or looking to begin your coaching journey, we’d love to hear from you and welcome you to be part of a supportive environment dedicated to developing the next generation of female footballers.

What a year 2026 has been for our senior men!

Back in the NPL, knocking on the door of the top six and three players in the Senol NPL Team of the Year Squad.

Today it has been announced that two of our players have made the 2026 Senol Team of the Year!!!

Congratulations to Michael Tzoutzidis and Leo Mazis on your achievements, this is truly an honour to be proud of, and on behalf of everyone at Caroline Springs George George we want to say could not be more proud of you.

Caroline Springs George Cross FC is excited to open our 2027 Player EOI.

We are currently in the process of preparing our program for 2027 with the view that we will once again participate in YPL Division 1 with our men’s program playing in NPLM.

🕊️ Death and Funeral Notice – Nazareno “Reno” Micallef

It is with great sadness that we advise the Caroline Spring George Cross FC community of the passing of Nazareno “Reno” Micallef, aged 81, on 2 September 2026.

Reno was a proud and devoted member, supporter and life member of George Cross. He served on the Club’s committee throughout the 1970s and 1980s and was also involved with the Victorian Soccer Federation for a time. His years within the soccer community remained an important part of his life and were remembered with great affection.

Reno was the dearly loved husband of Pauline Micallef for 60 years, a much-loved father, grandfather and great-grandfather, and the brother of Tony Micallef.

A Rosary and Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, 14 September 2026, at:

St Brigid’s Catholic Church
39–49 McLaren Road
Nerang QLD 4211

Rosary: 11:00 am
Funeral Mass: 11:30 am

Following the Mass, Reno will be laid to rest at Mudgeeraba Cemetery.

Livestream details will be made available and shared once confirmed.

Floral tributes may be sent to Pauline Micallef, care of St Brigid’s Catholic Church at the address above.

May Reno rest in eternal peace.
