Round 5 SA Public Course Pennants

Well that wasnt the round we wanted to have as both teams lose.

Div 2 travelled to Kapunda the result ended up a lost 7 and won 1

Congratulations to Randall for the only win and that went down the last hole I believe.

Div 3. travelled to The Gums the result ended up a lost 5 and win 3

Congratulations to Mark G, Brendon M and Brenton E all having wins.

And what a putt by Brenton 50 foot putt (the distance of the putt keeps growing) on the last in front of all standing there to win his game. And got a great big cheer by both teams when it dropped.

This week play are at home against Mawson Lakes. We need to win both divisions to win to cement our spots in the finals, then we don't rely on other results so let's go out there and get those wins.

If you aren't doing anything on Sunday come down and support the boys and girls representing our club, the first group should be finishing about 11:45 if they go all the down to the 18th.

Today we saw a very small field play due to the very wet conditions and the water laying around on course and unable some players being able to play due to no ride on carts on course.

But it was a wet day under foot in some spots and some standing water which made it a bit difficult at some stages.

Round 4 SA Public Course Pennants Update.

Today we took on Sandy Creek at our home deck.
And some great results I must say.
In a very cold start to the morning but with the sun coming out it turned into a lovely day.

Div. 2 They won against the top team with 4 win 1 halved and 3 losses.
Well done to Dale E winning 3&2 , Colin S winning (2&1), Ben F winning (1up), Daniel S winning (2up) and Mandy halved her match.

Div. 3 They squared there match.

Well done wins to Gavin M (3&1), Guy T (4&3), Mark G (2&1), Scott D getting his first pennants win (2up).

The other games were very close also I must say.

I will say it was amazing once again to see everyone supporting each other.
And as playing in the last group of the day to see everyone of both teams there hanging around the 17th tee trying to see what was happening in the games still going.

Once again all well played, and love the team supporting each other.

There are still changes for both teams to make the finals in a few weeks with 2 weeks remaining for the round robin part of the competition.

Next week Div. 2 travel to Kapunda to take them on and Div. 3 travel to The Gums(Penfield)

Well what a day.

It started last night looking like it was going be a very full field untill the rain start early this morning, and as the first group were about to start thier day it was still raining. There were some brave players wanting to get a game. But the rain continued and it got to the point the course became unplayable.

Therfore no results today due to course ending up being unplayable this morning.

Well done to those brave souls that did start.

All the best to our Pennants players tomorrow as they take on Sandy Creek Golf Club at home.

Hello all.

We have been informed by the Course that they arent allowing any ride on vehicles on cousre still due the water on course this week. Its still wet under foot.

This is for Saturday and Sunday and will be reassessed on Sunday for Monday and Tuesday.
