🏏 Helmets Now Compulsory in Peel Cricket Association 🏏

All Peel Cricket Association Clubs have unanimously voted to make helmets compulsory from the 2026-27 season onwards.

This important decision ensures every player is better protected on the field.

Whether you're batting, wicket-keeping up to the stumps, or fielding close to the batter, wearing a helmet is now mandatory across all association grades and matches.

✅ Helmets must meet current safety standards (BS7928:2013 or AS/NZS equivalent)
✅ Proper fit is essential – snug, level, and secure
✅ Replace helmets after any impact or every 3-5 years

Players and parents: please check your gear before the season starts. If you have any questions about helmet requirements, fitting, or standards, speak with your club for further information.
