A great night out at the range for our Pinjar Rifle Club Night Shoot - Saturday, 11th April 2026🌙🎯

With a small group of members in attendance, it made for a relaxed evening filled with great company and some fun competition. We kicked things off at twilight with the first application at 500m, before stepping it up with a second application in full darkness.

While the calm conditions set the stage for some big scores, the challenge of shooting in the dark kept everyone on their toes!

Congratulations to our winners tonight, and a big thank you to everyone who came along and helped make it such an enjoyable evening 👏

What a weekend at Albany! 💨🎯

The Barry Hughes Memorial Shoot hosted by Albany Rifle Club on Friday, followed by the Great Southern DRA Prize Meet over the Australia Day long weekend, delivered some of the toughest conditions shooters could ask for. Strong, gusty winds and at times almost unreadable conditions really tested everyone on the mound.

🎯✨ What a Night at the 2025 Pinjar Rifle Club Night Shoot! ✨🎯

Just shy of 40 shooters took to the firing line under the calm, clear skies of Pinjar Rifle Range, and what a night it was! Pinjar turned on the charm with perfect conditions, making for an enjoyable evening of competition, camaraderie, and a few unexpected challenges for those new to night shooting. 👀💡

While a handful of shots landed on less intended targets (we’ve all been there!), the overall standard was exceptional, with the top four PCO shooters all achieving double possibles. It all came down to centres in the end! 🏆

A huge shoutout to PRC Social & Events Officer, Adam, for serving up a feast — pulled pork and beef rolls with coleslaw that definitely beat the usual barbecue fare. 🍔🔥

Congratulations to all our place-getters and thank you to everyone who came along to enjoy a relaxed, competitive night under the lights. 🌙👏

Our Beverley Picnic shoot that was disrupted by rain last month has been rescheduled for the 1st and 2nd of November. We invite everyone back for another fun weekend and the Sporter Teams match will be held again on the Saturday afternoon. This is another great opportunity to get in some practice before the big Silver Bullet event.



For those shooters who left the picnic shoot before we announced refunds for the day, your previous entry fee remains valid for the November shoot.



We look forward to seeing everyone again - and more – and we have it on good authority that the high class catering we enjoyed will once again be provided.
