Shooting targets is a lot of fun, but there’s plenty happening behind the scenes to make it all possible β€” repairing targets (hopefully just the centre parts!), setting up and packing away electronics, putting up flags, training as range officers, cleaning up when it’s our duty day, attending meetings, and much more.

We genuinely appreciate everyone who pitches in to keep the club running smoothly, and we hope to see some new faces getting involved soon!

The MDRA Prize Meeting (aka The Metro Marathon this year) went ahead this weekend, condensed from the usual two days into one to stay ahead of the weather. Around 72 shooters took on the challenge, and the BassBell team put in a strong showing with some excellent results. Let’s keep the momentum going and get even more numbers for the Kings!

Steve Crago** – 3 match placings and a Saturday Aggregate placing
David Littlely** – 2 match placings
David Alford** – 1 match placing
Chris Andrews** – 3 match placings, Sunday Aggregate placing, and a Grand Aggregate placing
Marc Prince** – 4 match placings, Saturday Aggregate placing, Sunday Aggregate placing, and a Grand Aggregate placing
Melanie Duff** – 5 match placings, Sunday Aggregate placing, and a Grand Aggregate placing
Robert Duff** – 2 match placings, and didn’t drop a shot all day! (Unfortunately 2 of the vbulls were in wrong targets).
Well done to all!
