e you a workout, I'll get you to your goal faster by working out what works best for you. Welfare is about what is best for you & your well being. The phrases that are often used include, "Gains No Pains". My focus is to keep you safe. "Focus on the Feel" as it's not about how you look in the mirror, but how you feel within. "No Sweat" as you can achieve results with small changes that do not require you to turn your life upside down. Not so long ago I weighed 140kgs. Depression and anxiety were familiar bedfellows, and my addictions – had me marching to an early grave. Marching, but I just couldn’t move. Until heartache, some painful rock bottoms, and a couple of hard knocks – including the suicides of several close friends – inspired me to focus on the day-to-day things I could actually change. Exercise saved my life. If poor mental health and addiction were keeping me stuck, then exercise got me moving in every sense. As for food, 20 years’ experience as a qualified chef meant I already knew the value of nutrition, so I went about researching and creating nutritious recipes that fed the soul and fueled the body. When I became a qualified fitness professional, this gave me an edge. So, what is Work Out Welfare? It’s the whole package, more convenient version of the dips and turns it took me to achieve a healthy body, mind and soul.
