🏌️‍♂️ Life Member Spotlight: Hans Sewalt

Some people don’t just belong to a golf club - they help shape its future.

Life Member Hans Sewalt has been part of the Antill Park story for decades, serving on the Board and contributing to many of the decisions that have helped make the club what it is today.

One decision Hans still speaks about with pride was being involved in the appointment of Greens Superintendent Andrew Steele. Looking around the course today, it’s easy to see why. Andrew and his team continue to deliver a course that members and visitors can enjoy year-round.

Hans’ passion for Antill Park remains as strong as ever, and his dedication over the years has helped create the welcoming community we enjoy today.

If you see Hans around the clubhouse or out on the course, be sure to say hello and thank him for his contribution to our club.

Working Bee – Wednesday 24th June 🧤🌿

We’re calling on our members to lend a hand at our next Working Bee on Wednesday 24th June from 8:00am.

Whether it’s weeding garden beds, tidying pathways or helping with general maintenance around the clubhouse precinct, every helping hand makes a difference.

Please bring your gardening gloves and any gardening equipment you may have available.

As a thank you, morning tea and a beverage from the bar will be provided for all volunteers.

We’d love to see as many members as possible come along and help keep Antill Park looking its best.

One size doesn’t fit all in golf.

Yesterday’s Titleist Fitting Day gave our members the chance to put that theory to the test, trying the latest equipment and finding the setup best suited to their swing.

Thanks to Nick from Titleist for a fantastic day and to everyone who came along.

Our EZGO carts have had brand new GPS screens installed, giving players hole layouts, distance to the pin, built-in scorecards and more.

It’s a better way to plan your shots, track your round and enjoy the course.

Further functionality will be rolled out in due course, so there’s plenty more to come.

Next time you book a round, hire a cart and take the new setup for a spin.

Smarter golf. Better rounds. Same great course.

Our Master Pennants competed against Moore Park today on our home course.
We beat the Opposition 5/3 in a tough match.
Well done Team Antill!
Next week is a long weekend, so no play.

Last Friday, member Andrew somehow managed to miss a 6 metre putt for $2000… and we’re still trying to work out how. 😅

That means the Putt for Dough jackpot is up for grabs again tonight — $2000 could be yours with one putt!

Come down to the 19th Hole for dinner, grab a drink, and stick around for your chance to win one of the meat trays as well. Plenty happening and plenty to win!
