🐉 We Play Hard… We Work Together to Tidy Up! 🌊

At Sandy Point Dragon Boat Club, teamwork doesn’t stop when the paddling ends.

After every session, every single paddler grabs a rope and pulls the boat onto the trolley — then we all push it back to the yard together. No spectators, no shortcuts — just one crew finishing the job as a team. 💪

That’s our culture: We play together. We work together. We tidy up together.

🌊💪 Paddles up for a cleaner Georges River! 🌊💪
Today, the Sandy Point Dragons rolled up our sleeves (and grabbed our gloves!) during training to join the nation for Clean Up Australia Day!

Our awesome crew hit the shores and waters around our home on the Georges River, picking up litter, protecting our beautiful training grounds, and showing that dragon boaters don't just paddle hard — we care hard too!

From plastic bottles to random bits of rubbish, every piece we collected helps keep our river healthy for paddling, wildlife, and the whole community.

A huge thank you to every Dragon who got involved —your teamwork on and off the boat makes us proud!

Let's keep the momentum going: train strong, paddle together, and leave our waterways better than we found them. 💚

Double the power, double the fun! 🚣‍♂️🚣‍♀️💚

We had epic training session with TWO boats hitting the Georges River together!

Our crew came out in force for a solid paddle, mixing technique drills, team coordination, and plenty of laughs under that perfect blue sky. The session like this that make dragon boating so special.

Shoutout to everyone who showed up – the energy was unreal! Whether you're a regular or thinking of joining, come experience the teamwork and thrill for yourself.
