The Rotary Magnetic Island Beer Can Regatta is a family friendly day set in the tropical waters of Magnetic Island, only 8km from Townsville, North Queensland. It has been a feature event of the Magnetic Island Bay Dayz Festival, every September, since 2013. It is open to everyone to come and have fun, with spectators also invited to cheer on the teams from the Picnic Bay jetty, or from the foreshore.
