Team Carswell are embarking on an amazing adventure this Fathers Day weekend. Paul Carswell, Aaron Carswell and Daniel Carswell are all riding postie bikes across Fraser Island for three days. Yes, a sand island, with postie bikes!!

The method behind the madness is to raise funds to support local prevention of su***de. With over 30 su***des in five months locally these are just heartbreaking numbers.

All funds raised will go to Hervey Bay Neighbourhood Centre to assist with funding for an additional counselling services and livin.org

Last month we attended the Kuluin Mufflers “weapon of choice” annual fundraising charity event which this year was a car show at the QLD Air Museum with all the proceeds going to Love Your Sister. We had a great night amongst all the cars and planes and watched American Graffiti on the drive in screen they had set up. Not only was ALL the entry’s proceeds going to the charity but ALL the money you spent once you went through the gate. We bought a few raffle tickets for the great prizes donated by some local companies and were lucky to come away with 2 of the prizes which we had to share with you. The first prize was a Full exhaust system to suit our 4WD donated by Amron Industries and fitted by kuluin Mufflers and 2 x 4WD DVD Series “The Australian Bushman” donated by Jamie's Touring Solutions, the 200 sounds AWESOME. The second prize was a Custom Kincrome drinks trolley donated by Auto One Maroochydore artwork donated by East Coast Airbrushing and a silverback chrome drink cooler bag filled with a 6 pack of Great Northen Beer donated by CSC Exhaust Parts. Rod did an amazing job with the pin striping and even put our Carswell Racing logo on the lid.
Luke and Ange, thank you for a great night, we would love to bring the GTS next year and hopefully get a few of the Speedways family cars to support you as well. Thanks from the Carswell Racing family Paul, Jane, Daniel, Aaron & Jasmin
