Petrie parkrun is a FREE weekly timed 5km event for runners and walkers of all standards, which takes place every Saturday at 7am at Sweeney Reserve in Petrie, Queensland, Australia. Your run/walk - your goal ! Whether it's for fun or as part of a training plan. Petrie parkrun offers an opportunity to the local community, male and female, young and old, to come together on a regular basis to enjoy

the beautiful surrounds of the North Pine River and to get physically active at the same time and it's FREE!

Another GREAT MORNING with 144 runners and walkers joining us to start their weekend the best way we know how. 🏃‍♂️ 🏃‍♀️ 🌳 ✨
Congrats to a few of our regulars for hitting 400 parkruns today and a special shout out to our tail walker, Brent, who has visited over 190 parkruns and is raising awareness for Australian Prostate Cancer month this September.
