Director and chief instructor of the I.K.G.A. in Australia is Brian Mackie. Brian a 8th Dan Kyoshi Shihan, has been teaching at the Karate Academy of Japan in Perth since 1966. Australia's first Gold Medallist in an official International Championships, Brian became the Australian Karate Federation's National Coach on his retirement from international competition. ent will be your instructor. I am privileged to be a student of Goshi Yamaguchi, Grand Master of the International Goju-Kai Karate-do Association. In 2001 I was awarded my 7th Dan black belt and hold the rank Kyoshi a Masters teaching degree from Master Yamaguchi. For the past 40 years I have successfully represented Australia as a competitor and National Team Coach. Just reiterating that the club will be closed for the school holidays and resume on the 15th of April 2024 for 2nd term.

A handful of students went for their grading, and all passed with two students receiving double promotions. Well done, keep up the good work!
