Director and chief instructor of the I.K.G.A. in Australia is Brian Mackie. Brian a 8th Dan Kyoshi Shihan, has been teaching at the Karate Academy of Japan in Perth since 1966. Australia's first Gold Medallist in an official International Championships, Brian became the Australian Karate Federation's National Coach on his retirement from international competition. ent will be your instructor. I am privileged to be a student of Goshi Yamaguchi, Grand Master of the International Goju-Kai Karate-do Association. In 2014 I was awarded my 8th Dan black belt and hold the rank Kyoshi a Masters teaching degree from Master Yamaguchi. For the past 40 years I have successfully represented Australia as a competitor and National Team Coach. As the Director of Goju-Kai Oceana I personally ensure that the level of instruction you will receive at any of our clubs will be of the highest standard.

Karate Lessons

Want to build self esteem, discipline and fitness then try karate. Children from 4 years through to adults can join.

Venue:Tuart Rise PS
Day: Mondays starting 5th Feb
Times: 3.30-4.15. Ages 4-6
4.15-5pm. Ages 7-13
5-6pm 14 years to adult and junior green and above
Cost: $10 per lesson per child

What a fantastic week! The Aussie team had plenty of success and gained so much invaluable experiences!

Our final overall results were
2 Gold
13 silver
12 Bronze

Well done to everyone!

Another exciting day with Adam and Loch!
Both competed exceptionally. Adam making the finals but due to a draw stuff up had re fight extra matches to come away 4th but deserved Gold with the way he handled the emotion and his incredible effort!
Loch getting a silver in kumite and Bronze in Kata!

Our over results for Mandurah were

1 Gold
3 Silver
2 Bronze

Also a special thank you to Neil and Josh who both refereed at the comp. without them we wouldn't have had any representation! 👊
