With four weeks out from the 2nd Boorloo Football Carnival some clarity is required in regards to some questions I have had.

Unfortunately this year we have fallen on the same date as Bunbury GWABA carnival, not deliberate by either carnival. Just the way things went with limited availability of ovals due to cricket season commencing.

I think everyone would be in agreeance of having Bunbury, Perth & Kalgoorlie all on different dates to ensure maximum community involvement and teams across all. Hopefully in the future this can be achieved.

We still wish all the teams and other carnivals the best of luck in theirs.

With only five weeks to go to our carnival we thought we would give you some updates.
Some great local teams have joined in the carnival in what promises to be and exciting day.

We have also established the "Boorloo Futures Aboriginal Corporation", the corporation will deliver programs and three scholarships to northern suburbs youth entering high school in 2027. This hopefully will assist in their transition to a new environment.
For us, this is about celebrating our football talent and giving back to the community. Last year we made a great donation to the Homelessness strategies.

It's getting closer to carnival number 2.

Boorloo Futures Footy Carnival update.

We have expanded the number of teams competing as we have now got two ovals side by side. We still have some spots available for your team - but they are filling quickly.

We like to be as organised as possible so every knows in advance of teams, fixtures and agenda. With no surprises.

The first game starts at 9.30am. Giving you time to follow up with your players. See time and date on the flyer below.

Grand final Div 2 is at 4.45pm.
Grand Final Div 1 is at 5.25pm.

Important to note - Proceeds of the funds raised go to Homelessness, same as last year.

Back again in the 1st weekend in October, just like last year.

As we continue to think outside of the box and look to 2026.

We are in talks with the Department of Justice in inviting a team from Woorooloo Prison or Karnet Prison to compete in the carnival.

Expressions of Interest for team placements will be out early in the new year. Whilst the eight teams which participated this year will have first preference.

Our aim is twelve teams.
