A CHAMPIONSHIP CAMPAIGN TO BE PROUD OF

The 2026 Australian Little League Championship has come to an end for our Eastern Phantoms, with the team falling 5-1 to the Adelaide Marlins in this morning's Bronze Medal Game.

While the result wasn't what the team had hoped for, it does not diminish what has been an outstanding tournament campaign.

The Phantoms finished pool play at the top of their pool with a 4-1 record, including a memorable victory over the previously undefeated Adelaide Marlins to secure their place in the Semi Finals. Along the way, they showcased their talent, determination, resilience and team spirit against the best Little League teams in Australia.

To finish among the top four teams in the country is a tremendous achievement and one that every player, coach and family should be incredibly proud of.

A huge thank you goes to the coaching staff, team officials, families, supporters and everyone who helped make this journey possible.

The future is bright for this group of young athletes, and we look forward to watching their continued development and success in the years ahead. 💛💙

The Eastern Phantoms Little League team has one more opportunity to add to what has already been an outstanding championship campaign, with a Bronze Medal up for grabs tomorrow morning.

After finishing at the top of their pool with a 4-1 record, the Phantoms faced fellow Western Australian team Central Firebirds in today's Semi Final. Despite a determined effort, the Phantoms fell 9-2 against a strong Firebirds side.

Tomorrow, the team will take on the Adelaide Marlins at 7:00am (WST) in the Bronze Medal Game. Having defeated the Marlins 9-6 in their final pool game earlier this week, the Phantoms will be looking to finish their tournament on a high and bring home a medal.

The Gold Medal Game will follow at 11:30am (WST), with Central Firebirds taking on Ryde Red for the Australian Championship and a place at the Little League World Series.

SEMI-FINAL BOUND!

The Eastern Phantoms Little League team is through to the Semi Finals!

Following this morning's 9-6 victory over the Adelaide Marlins, the Phantoms finish pool play with a 4-1 record. With both teams ending pool play at 4-1, the Phantoms claim top spot in their pool thanks to their head-to-head win over the Marlins.

The Semi Final schedule will be released later today, and we'll share details as soon as they become available.

PHANTOMS COME THROUGH IN MUST WIN GAME 😱

The Eastern Phantoms woke up with a daunting challenge.

They had to defeat 4-0 Adelaide Marlins to stay in the finals conversation at Little League.

They did just that, coming through with a 9-6 victory to improve to 4-1 in a gutsy, tense effort on Diamond 4.

It moves both teams to a share of the lead at 4-1 in Pool B with one game left in the tournament.

If Brisbane Metro defeat Ryde (3-1), both Adelaide and Eastern Phantoms will advance on a 4-1 record.

If Ryde win, we go to a three-way tiebreaker where tournament administrators have some math to do.

PHANTOMS FINISH POOL PLAY WITH A BIG WIN!

Our Little League team has finished pool play on a high, defeating the previously undefeated Adelaide Marlins 9-6.

Now comes the waiting game.

With pool play wrapping up across the championship today, the Phantoms' finals fate will depend on the results of the remaining games and how the standings fall once all teams have completed their schedules. There are still several scenarios in play, and we'll be keeping a close eye on the results as they come in.

For now, congratulations to the players and coaching staff on an outstanding effort to finish pool play 4-1.

A SPLIT DAY FOR OUR PHANTOMS

Our LL team experienced a day of highs and lows. The day started with a commanding 21-1 victory over Melbourne Athletics.

In the second game of the day, the Phantoms came up against a strong Ryde Black side, falling 8-0. While not the result they were hoping for, the team has shown tremendous resilience throughout the tournament and remains focused on the challenge ahead.

They now turn their attention to their final pool game tomorrow, where they will take on the Adelaide Marlins at 7:00am WST.
