Our Year 11/12 boys have done it — GRAND FINAL WINNERS! 🏆🙌🏼

For some of our Year 12s, this was the final chapter of their Caversham Suns journey, and what a way to close the book. After years of wearing the red and yellow, they leave with a Grand Final medal and a memory they’ll carry with them forever. ❤️💛

For our Year 11s, this victory means just as much. These boys came together from two very different teams last season. One group had come agonisingly close to a Grand Final victory not once, but twice, while the other had experienced the tough end of the ladder in some incredibly challenging divisions.

But this year, they came together as ONE team.

They backed each other, worked for each other and showed exactly what can happen when a group of boys come together with belief, determination and a common goal.

And on Grand Final day… they got the job done! 🏆🔥

A glorious win for every single one of them — for the Year 12s finishing their Suns journey on the ultimate high, and for the Year 11s who have shown just how much can change when you stick together and believe.

What a way to celebrate a massive milestone! ❤️💛

Congratulations to Harry Day and Anthony Panaiia on reaching an incredible 100 games for the Caversham Suns! 👏🏼

And to make the occasion even more special, the boys reached this milestone on Grand Final day against Ballajura… and topped it off with a GRAND FINAL WIN! 🏆🥳

100 games is an incredible achievement and a testament to the commitment, dedication and love for the game that both Harry and Anthony have shown over the years.

This team has shown plenty of heart, resilience and belief, backing each other right through to the final siren. To finish the season as Grand Final Premiers is a fantastic achievement, and one they should all be very proud of! 🏆🙌

We’re going to recognise each of our Grand Final teams individually, because each team deserves their own moment in the spotlight! 🌟

First up, our Year 7 Red boys — what a great year and what a great team! The boys have worked hard, supported each other and continued to grow throughout the season, culminating in a Grand Final victory! 🏆

A huge congratulations to all the boys — you should be incredibly proud of what you’ve achieved.

And a special thank you to our fantastic coaches and parent helpers for their time, commitment and the incredible support they’ve given the team throughout the year. 👏

What a weekend for the Caversham Suns! ❤️💛

A massive congratulations to our Year 7, Year 8 and Year 11/12 teams, who all came away with the Grand Final win! 🏆🏆🏆

The boys have worked incredibly hard all season, and to see their commitment, teamwork and determination rewarded with premiership glory is something very special. 💪

A huge thank you to our coaches, team managers, volunteers and families for everything you have put in behind the scenes to support these teams throughout the season.

💛❤️ Happy Father’s Day from Caversham Suns! 💛❤️

Today we celebrate all the amazing dads, stepdads, grandads, uncles and father figures who cheer from the sidelines, kick the footy in the backyard, help with the boots and always seem to find a way to make it to training and game day! 🏉

Thank you for all the lifts, the encouragement, the early mornings and, most importantly, for being there to support our players every step of the way.

🍝 Pasta Night for our Grand Finalists! 🏆

The Caversham Suns put on a pasta night for our three teams heading into the Grand Finals, making sure our boys were fuelled up and ready for the big weekend ahead!

A huge thank you to our President Paul for providing the delicious meals, and to our amazing coaches and committee members who pitched in to serve, organise and feed 50+ very hungry boys! 😂🍝

It was a great night of food, laughs and team spirit. We’re so proud of these boys and can’t wait to see them take the field this weekend.

What a way to finish! A massive congratulations to our Year 6 boys, who have taken out the Super Sixes Competition! 🔴🟡

Super Sixes has been a fantastic opportunity for the boys to develop their skills, teamwork and game awareness while experiencing a taste of the Year 7 rules they’ll take on next season.

The boys have represented the Caversham Suns with plenty of determination, teamwork and sportsmanship throughout the competition.

Congratulations, boys — a fantastic achievement and a great way to wrap up your junior footy journey! 👏🏆
