Thank You Bendigo Bank Kingsway for Supporting the Future of Balga SC.

Balga Soccer Club would like to extend a sincere thank you to Bendigo Bank Kingsway for their generous community grant, which has helped us purchase new junior goals and essential training equipment for our young players.

As a community-run club, support from local organisations like Bendigo Bank Kingsway plays a vital role in helping us provide the best possible environment for children to learn, develop, and enjoy the game of football.

The grant has enabled us to invest in portable goals and a range of training aids that will be used across our junior programs. These resources will help improve training sessions, create more opportunities for skill development, and ensure our young players have access to quality equipment as they continue their football journey.

Most importantly, this investment supports the hundreds of children who represent Balga SC each week, giving them the tools they need to build confidence, develop friendships, stay active, and foster a lifelong love of the game.

On behalf of our players, coaches, volunteers, and families, we thank Bendigo Bank Kingsway for their commitment to supporting local community sport. Their contribution will have a lasting impact on our junior program and the next generation of Balga SC players.

🏆⚽ WHAT AN AWESOME ACHIEVEMENT FOR OUR GIRLS SOCCER PROGRAM AT BALGA SC! ⚽🏆

A massive congratulations to our U16 JDL 1 Girls and U14 JDL 1 Girls who have both secured their place in the Final 8 of the Football West Junior Girls Cup! 🎉

This is a fantastic achievement for the Junior Girls program and a testament to the hard work, dedication, and commitment shown by all our players, coaches, assistants and families throughout the season.

To have two teams competing amongst the best in the competition is something our entire club and community can be incredibly proud of.

The journey isn't over yet - it's only getting more exciting! Let's get behind both teams as they take on the Final 8 and continue to make our club proud.

The Black & Greens are back at home again this Saturday as we welcome Gosnells City to Princess Road Reserve for another important day of State League football.

After a memorable 9-point Saturday last weekend, our teams will be looking to continue their strong form in front of the home supporters.

🖤💚⚽️ UNDER 18'S VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS ⚽️💚🖤

Enjoy all the goals from our Under 18s' outstanding 4-0 victory over Morley-Windmills at Princess Road Reserve on Saturday.

The win continued the team's excellent form and moved the Black & Greens into fifth place on the ladder, with the boys now firmly in the hunt for a Top Four finish as the season enters its crucial stages. 👏🔥

It was John Abbas who got the scoring underway in the 20th minute before Balga doubled its advantage just before half-time with Razak Amadu finding the net.

After the break, Abbas took centre stage, scoring twice more to complete a superb hat-trick and help secure an impressive three points for the Black & Greens.

Enjoy all the goals from our Under 23's impressive 4-2 victory over Morley-Windmills at Princess Road Reserve on Saturday.

The Black & Greens continued their excellent season with another important three points, moving into the Top Four and closing the gap to just four points behind the league leaders. 👏🔥

It was Ryan Cruickshank who opened the scoring in the 17th minute before Liam Whitby doubled Balga's advantage before half-time.

Cruickshank then took centre stage after the break, scoring twice more to complete a superb hat-trick and put the Black & Greens firmly in control at 4-0.

Morley-Windmills fought back with two late goals, but the result was never in doubt as Balga secured another valuable win.

This picture symbolises everything that is great about Balga Soccer Club.

In this one photograph are life members, past presidents, former committee members, volunteers, past junior players, and first team players whose involvement with the club stretches back to the 1970s and 1980s. Each person has played a part in shaping the Black & Greens into the club we know today.

Many of those pictured can take great pride in the contribution they have made to Balga. Whether their role was large or small, every volunteer hour, every committee meeting, every game played, every junior coached, and every dollar raised has helped build our club and keep it strong for over 55 years.

Sadly, in recent years we have lost some of the giants of our club, including life members Dick and Milly Haneveld, Barbara Price, club founder and first life member Ted Hutton, and now Glyn James. While they are no longer with us, their legacy lives on through the club they helped create, nurture, and grow. They will always be remembered for their dedication, friendship, and service to Balga Soccer Club.

As we celebrate our 55th anniversary, we reflect not only on our proud history, but also on our future. The responsibility now falls to the next generation of players, coaches, volunteers, and supporters to continue building on the foundations laid by those who came before us. Together, we hope to see Balga continue to grow, develop young footballers, strengthen our community, and create new memories that will be cherished for generations to come.

Enjoy all the highlights from our First Team's excellent 4-1 victory over Morley-Windmills at Princess Road Reserve on Saturday.

It was a special afternoon for everyone associated with Balga Soccer Club as we came together to remember Glyn "Jamesy" James, a true club legend who gave so much to the Black & Greens over many decades.

The players responded in the best possible way, producing a strong performance to secure all three points and reclaim the John Aufdemkampe Trophy.

🖤💚⚽️ AMATEUR LEAGUE RESULTS ⚽️💚🖤

What a day for our Amateur First Team! 👏🔥

The boys produced a record-equalling performance, defeating Mindarie FC 13-3 away from home.

The result equals the biggest winning score in Balga First Team history (State League or Amateur), matching the 13 goals we scored against Western Yugal in a State League Division One match back in 1992. 🏆⚽️

It was an outstanding attacking display and another statement performance from Martyn Day's men as they continue their impressive season.

Unfortunately, our Reserves were unable to make it a clean sweep, going down 2-1 in a hard-fought contest.
