Todd recently visited the Custom Studio looking for a solution to his struggles with control and consistency off the tee. Initially, he tried a mini driver off the shelf, hoping for an improvement but the results just weren’t there.

Meet Ryan Wille, one of our talented PGA professionals 👋

With over 12 years in the golf industry and 2½ years at WGC, Ryan brings top-notch experience to the team.

He’s not only a full-time supervisor in the shop, he also coaches on the side, and is one of our outstanding club fitters at the Wembley Golf Custom Studio.

Inspired by Tiger Woods and Seve Ballesteros, his passion for golf started young and never stopped. His favourite brand? PING, of course!

Why does he love club fitting? “No two golfers swing the same. I love the challenge of finding the perfect setup for every player.”

Mike recently visited us for a driver fitting. He’d been using the same gamer for five years and felt he was losing distance off the tee but wasn’t sure why.

As a single-figure handicapper, Mike knew his game well. After a few swings, it became clear his launch angle and spin rates were too high, limiting his distance.

We worked through a range of shaft options and the latest driver heads on the market and the difference was impressive. Mike gained 10 metres of carry and a potential 20 extra metres in total without sacrificing accuracy.

Safe to say that Mike walked away with a smile on his face and ready to knock it past his mates again!
