80km for something bigger than himself.

Yesterday, Dez ran from 10am–7pm at Revo Fitness Gym supporting the fight against brain cancer. Along side ChiYin Reynolds and Zac Carlino. When the fundraiser finished, he kept going…pushing on for another couple of hours until he reached 80km.

There’s a privilege in being able to choose something hard.
To choose the discomfort. To choose to keep moving. To choose to test what you’re capable of. Because for so many people, the fight was never a choice.

Proud of you, Dez. This is what movement can mean. 🤝

Inspired by the privilege of simply being able to get out there, move, and see what he’s capable of.

We were lucky enough to share the first 10km with him.

Hopefully this inspires someone else to go find their own limit.

That’s what inspires us.

Tomorrow, Samson Swift | Endurance Athlete lines up at the Backyard Ultra alongside others chasing their limit, putting that mindset to the test one lap at a time.
