A fantastic championship campaign from the City of Perth Swimming Club athletes:

🥈 10 silver
🥉 2 bronze
🌍 7 reported record performances

Kate Wallington completed an outstanding campaign with eight PBs from eight swims and six medals—three gold, two silver and one bronze.

Kate also produced seven reported Virtus II3 world-record performances across six events. These performances remain pending formal Virtus ratification.

A brilliant weekend from the City team and everyone who supported them.

55 Km in Crocodile infested waters!

Andrew Donaldson completes the Dam to Dam challenge in a time of 11 hours and 51 seconds to become the faster swimmer ever (pending ratification) to complete the challenge!

The swim required Andy and the team to navigate rapids, hot water (29+ degrees), wind gusts and the Kimberley heat to successfully complete the event.

A true team effort to help support Andy through this swim with over 13 months of preparation going into it.

Special mentions to:

Ben Broady for organising the swim and getting a rockstar team together!

Simone Blasor for Pioneering the swim and providing us with key insights on the swim during the race.

Ryan Evernden for preparing Andy body to withstand the event and for paddling the entire distance with to navigate and coach Andy during the swim.

Eoin Carroll for being Andys swimming coach in the lead up to the event.

Jay Prchal for being Andys handler and making sure he was good to go for the event and staying onto of his feeds during the swim.

This was a truely incredible and mind blowing event that has attracted attention around the world, but that was never what it was about.

It was about showing off the amazing place that is the Kimberley to the world, inspiring young people in the community to chase their dreams and to be the start of something truely special.
