Our aim since day one has been to represent our traditional Punjabi Culture to the Western Australian society through our Folkloric dance form.

We’re excited to be part of the Artisan Village in the Hills — a beautiful celebration of Indian diaspora arts as part of the Armadale Arts Trail 2025!

Catch Bhangra Rulez performing live on Saturday, 15th November — bringing high energy, vibrant beats and the true spirit of Punjabi folk to the hills!

Experience two evenings filled with culture and creativity featuring Praashekh Borkar, Swaroopa Prameela Unni, The Great Indian Theatre Co, Aeka Group, Bhangra Rulez, Saraswati Mahavidhyalaya & ChitAmbara.

Enjoy authentic Indian food, a warm cup of chai, soulful music, classical and folk dance, theatre, live art and more — all under the trees.

We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to Folk Bhangra Academy Perth for extending the invitation to participate in the Youth Festival 2023. 🎉 It was an absolute honor and privilege to showcase our Folk Bhangra dance form accompanied by a lively live band.

Being part of events like these goes beyond just a performance; it's a celebration of our rich cultural heritage. The opportunity to contribute to the promotion of Punjab's diverse traditions is something we deeply appreciate. These platforms play a vital role in fostering a greater understanding and appreciation for our roots.

A special thank you to everyone at Folk Bhangra Academy for organizing such a fantastic event. Your dedication to preserving and promoting the cultural tapestry of Punjab is truly commendable. 🎉 Honored to represent "Punjab" and the rich Punjabi culture, we extend our heartfelt thanks to Saraswati Mahavidhyalaya (SMV Perth) for the incredible opportunity to be part of "Timeless India" on 29th and 30th September 2023! 🇮🇳🎶

Bhangra Rulez was thrilled to present our first folk live performance with a live band at this mesmerizing production. 🕺💃

"Timeless India" immersed us in the rich tapestry of Indian music and dance, blending ancient traditions with modern Bollywood. With over 100 talented artists from around the world, the event was a unique and captivating experience. 🌟

Sharing the grand stage with incredible international artists, local talents, and specialist groups like Abhinaya School of Kuchipudi was truly an honor, contributing to the authenticity and richness of the performance. 🎤💫

From Bharata Natyam to Bhangra, from Sufi music to Dandiya, from Manipuri drum dance to Kathak, "Timeless India" took us on a journey through India's diverse cultural traditions, celebrating our country's enduring cultural heritage. 🙏🇮🇳

Every art form, every verse, and every note came together to create a grand tapestry showcasing the diversity, dynamism, and vibrancy of Indian culture. It was an enlightening and mesmerizing experience that we will cherish forever. 🌈🎨📜
