Well it was a weekend of celebrations kicked off with the prestigious Freindlow + Ballon D'Ave Awards presented Saturday night.

The results in both came down to the final rounds play thus we had a nail biting count hosted by the ever vivacious Bavis Dode.

Congratulations to Ross Baker for taking out his debut Freindlow medal and to the following winners!

While were on the winning circuit, we also had the Grand Finals played out in the ICL on Sunday at Hamer Park, with Coolies Blue taking on Warnbro and Coolies Red in their clash against Kardinya Lakes.

We are proud to report both teams came back winners!
With Coolies Blue def Warnbro by 21 runs and Coolies Red getting the W over Kardinya Lakes by 24 runs.

We now move into the finals series with both H Grade and I Grade on the road in their respective clashes this week. Good luck and go well!

Join us for the Coolbinia West Perth Cricket Club Trophy Night as we celebrate the 2025/26 season!

Once again we head back to the Wembley Hotel - White Room (upstairs) for an evening of presentations and a few cold ones to celebrate the season passed.

Tickets are $30pp or $50 per couple or pair - partners are encouraged to attend! - food is included in the ticket price. The club will also be putting on a bar tab.

Please RSVP asap, and by no later than 21st March as we need to lock in the numbers with the venue for catering.

As we enter the final straight of Bennys campaign, Coolies is proud to support him in his incredible journey to raise awareness and funds for Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis (JRA). As a valued member of our community, Benny’s determination and positive spirit in spite of the challenges are what this club is about. We’re encouraging our players, families, and supporters to get behind him — whether by donating, spreading the word, or joining us this Saturday afternoon for a Charity inspired T20 Intraclub fixture. Together, let’s show what teamwork and community can achieve beyond the boundary. 💙

And the milestones keep rolling this season, and this week its another BIG ONE!

This week we celebrate a true Coolies legend — Brett “Hoggo” Harrison who notches up his 300th game for the Coolies. Hoggo embodies everything that makes our club and community cricket in general, great: loyalty, humility, and an unwavering love for the game. A true gentleman both on and off the field, he’s never had a bad word to say about anyone and has always led by determined example.

Despite famously steering clear of social media (no one’s quite sure how he even finds out when we’re playing!), he’s inevitably the first to arrive at the ground, ready to help, play, and support his teammates with a smile. As a past Vice President, long-time Committee Member, and proud Life Member, Hoggo’s dedication and contribution to the Coolies go far beyond his on-field achievements.

A great clubman, a great teammate, and an even better person, Congratulations on 300 games Hoggo !!

Hello everyone!

Many of you know that I’ve lived with arthritis my whole life — and I understand the daily battles, from treatments to simply getting out of bed and to live a normal life

This summer, I’m turning that struggle into strength. I’ll be walking laps around local ovals to raise awareness and funds for Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis (JRA) research. Over 4,000 children in Australia are living with this painful condition, and it’s becoming more common every year.

📅 When: November 7 – February 7
🎯 Goal: $2,000 for JRA research
💰 How you can help:
I’m asking for a $2 donation per lap — every step helps us get closer to better treatments and brighter futures for kids living with arthritis.
