The List Events and where we are at
First of all my apologies for lack of updates or information on what’s happened and how we got to where we are
2 weeks ago Ray , Sharpie ,Murray Oconnor and myself had a meeting where Ray informed us to the fact he wasn’t comfortable putting his name down as the meeting director for coming list events due to safety concerns with track quality or lack of and his liabilities and duty of care to the racers should a serious or otherwise incident occur , Sharpie also confirmed he didn’t want to be put down as meeting director either
About 3 hours after that meeting I was informed of a close family member being in ICU with very little hope off recovery so my priority went to my family , sadly we lost our family member three days later which I’m sure many can understand changes the priorities of life
However doesn’t make it right not keeping people informed and again I apologize
Moving forward
The track surface has become a major concern of many people to the point there will be NO list events run until the track is rectified
Trust me this isn’t something anyone of the group behind the events wanted to see but we don’t want to see anyone injured or cars turned to junk
Hopefully we can get some quality time back at the track when the track has been rectified to run the list events again
Lets hope to see the track surface back to being the premier track in Australia
