Congratulations to our SFL and Youth players who competed this weekend at the Goldfields state Futsal tournament held at Pro Futsal.

Thank you to Fremantle Wolves who gave us the opportunity to compete together with them!

WEEKEND RECAP

Friday night Lights at the Pro Futsal Bibra Lake saw us take on an improved and impressive Curtin Footbalista.

With the scores locked at 1-1 at half time, a half time change of tactic saw us score 5 unanswered goals In the second half to take the win by 6 goals to 1.

With critical matches to follow, it was important to get the three points.
Next up is Fremantle futsal club who are in rich veign of form at the moment and should be a very entertaining contest this Friday night.

Great results from both our draft and youth sides aswell see EWA record their first hat trick of victories this season.

Weekend Recap

A Saturday night blockbuster. One that drew attention and delivered all the hype. Coming home with the chocolates in end to end contest!

The boys got briefed on the task and kept to the task well. With a few key figures missing there is no better way to debut a couple of quality kids.
16 year old Daco Tsevic debuted in between the sticks with the absence of Glenn Sheldon. Tested numerous times he held his own and kept us excited to see his development.

Again at 16 years of age, Daniel Nga debuted in pink to field the court with ever experienced SFL players in the squad.
What a player this boy is. Slotted straight in and netted two goals on debut against a quality outfit in South Perth Futsal Club.

The future is bright!!

Weekend Recap

Friday night lights at the Pro Futsal Centre - Bibra Lake saw us take on a young and determined Murdoch Warriors Futsal Club WA
Boys got off to a flyer with a commanding 3 goal lead at half time courtesy of a flying Mark Gavranic double.
Murdoch pegged one back to start the second half but then a cracking goal from the left foot specialist Stefan Cvijanovic and classic Dek Burdle toe Finish made sure we secured the three points.

We welcome back Dek Burdle and Igor Cvijanovic to the squad who returned from brief spells at Fremantle Futsal Club and Rockingham Cambio Cumbre respectively.

Round 4 will see EWA take on South Perth Futsal Club Saturday Night

Season 2021/22 got underway against a hard running Canning Ultra Tigers.
Missing a few regulars, the boys stood up to the task with a solid 40min performance.

September 23rd 2021, Glenn Sheldon returns, This time it’s Permanent. A Second Stint at the club.
We are ecstatic to have him back, Glenn record needs no introduction. A Prolific shot stopper to embrace the league here in WA

Congratulations to our young superstar Jason Quintiliani on being nominated for Wsfl coach of the year.
With a challenging year thrown at him, he never backed down and took the challenge head on.
Finishing Third overall and just one win away from
Another Grand Final appearance, no wonder he was nominated!

We would also like to the opportunity to thank Laurie Quintiliani for managing the team off the court.

Come down to Pro Futsal bibra lake this saturday to watch our draft and WSFL women play Fremantle wolves in this years semifinal. Our draft ladies are looking at a repeat from last years success followed by our wsfl - 2 times champions looking for the 3peat.
