ATTENTION ALL BELMONT SUPPORTERS
If you’re heading along this Saturday to get behind the boys in red and black, we ask that you please take a moment to read the following.
The PFL is taking a zero-tolerance approach to abuse towards players and umpires from this Saturday onwards.
We know we have some of the most passionate and vocal supporters in the competition, and we absolutely want you to get behind the boys — cheer loud, create an atmosphere and support Belmont every step of the way.
But please don’t cross the line.
AS SUPPORTERS, WE ASK YOU TO:
• CHEER FOR BELMONT
• BE LOUD & PASSIONATE
• RESPECT THE UMPIRES
• RESPECT THE OPPOSITION
• LEAVE THE ABUSE OUT OF IT
Any abuse directed towards umpires or opposition players may result in free kicks being awarded against Belmont, directly impacting our team.
The PFL may also issue fines of up to $1,000 where necessary.
SUPPORTER ACCOUNTABILITY
If a fine is issued to the club as a result of an individual’s behaviour, that person will be responsible for paying the fine themselves.
We genuinely don’t expect this to be an issue.
We have already spoken with our players and coaching staff about the expectations for finals, and we believe it’s only fair that our incredible supporters are kept informed as well.
We want the noise. We want the passion. We want the support.
Just make sure it’s positive, respectful and behind the boys.
LET’S GET BEHIND THE BOMBERS!
See you all this Saturday — let’s make some noise!
