Leeming Masters Swim Club Welcome to Leeming Masters Swimming Club. We meet once a week on Wednesday from 7:15-8:15pm July to September, and 7-8pm October to June at Cockburn ARC.

Come along and get active! We welcome new members and cater for all levels of ability We are affiliated with Masters Swimming, an Australia-wide Association of adult swimming clubs whose members, aged 18 years and over, swim regularly to keep fit, make friends and have fun. Masters Swimming provides the motivation at clubs where people with similar objectives can swim together, encourage one anoth

er and make new friends. Members may choose to enjoy swimming at a club level or, as they improve, decide to represent their team in competitions.Open water swims are also popular. Prospective members are invited to attend three trial training sessions before committing to full membership. During that time our coach will assess your technique and place you in an appropriate lane so that you are swimming with people of similar ability.

...and the Masters Swimming WA Swim for Life 2025 - Distance Swim Handicap winner is...🥁🥁🥁...us😃! Well done Team - Amazing efforts, Thank you!🏆🎉

This was a virtual distance-swimming challenge in October 2025 where club members log their cumulative laps over six weeks. Partnered with MensTalk to support men's mental health initiatives and workshops in Perth.

Why MensTalk and Mental Health?
Su***de is the leading cause of death for men aged 15 – 44 in Australia.
- 1 in 5 men will experience anxiety.
- 1 in 7 men will experience depression.
- 9 Australians die by su***de every day, and 7 of them are men.
- 1 in 4 men say they would never speak to anyone about their mental health.

Where does the Fundraising go?
Swim for Life raises vital funds to support men’s mental health initiatives in the Perth community. These programs include:
- Drop-in support services for men
- One-on-one mentoring
- Free workshops
- Men’s support groups
- Targeted programs for young boys
- Advocacy for better mental health outcomes

Thanks to Swim for Life, MensTalk can continue providing these essential services at no cost and expand the reach, ensuring more men receive the support they need 🤝💙
