SURGE is a dynamic showcase celebrating emerging circus talent, created to bridge the gap between training and the professional stage. If you’re an advanced circus student or early-career performer with a passion for creation and performance, this is your moment to shine!

We’re inviting applications from all aerial and ground-based circus acts, as well as performances with a circus-inspired edge - including pole and movement acts with circus flair.

Successful applicants will take part in two exclusive mentoring sessions with SURGE mentors - Karl Kayoss (The Kayoss Factory, Mr Boylesque 2017), Sarah Ritchie (Kinetica), Anthony Tran and Fay MacFarlane (Circus Sorbet) - before performing live on stage in a ticketed show.

☀️ It was such beautiful backdrop and amazing vibes out at the Circus at Sunset series in South Perth 🎪

Massive thank you to ZAP CIRCUS for inviting Kinetica to present acts, and entrusting some of your Southside Summer audience to us!

As always, the attention to detail in the organisation and planning of your events, as well as your care for the performers, was very evident and just one of the reasons we love working with you!

GLITCH at was a huge success - with smashing reviews and a fully sold out season 🤩

This was a production full of WA talent and collaboration… and a whole lot of heart - with a soundscape that included both bespoke and original tracks by local electronic music producer , and contemporary dance training and artistic input by local dance powerhouse .alessi.68.
