One of Western Australia's premier private golf clubs, located amongst the rolling hills of Yokine, the club is only eight kilometres (10 minutes) from the city centre. The beautiful Tudor clubhouse overlooks superb fairways, greens and a picturesque lake, and also boasts views to the city and Darling Ranges. Spectacular views abound from the 12th tee in Swan Street, which is the highest point on the Swan coastal plain.

🏆🏆 Double trophy success for WAGC!

We are proud to congratulate our team on taking out both the 2026 GMA WA Schweppes Management Challenge and the prestigious Alex Monteath Trophy at Joondalup Resort.

Representing the Club were Men’s Captain Craig Harbrow, Men’s Vice-Captain Ross Clarke, General Manager Damien Todorovic and Golf Manager Phil Mackay.

A fantastic result for the team, bringing both trophies home for the second time in three years! Congratulations to all involved.

⛳️ Two recent highlights from our ladies’ calendar 🏆

On Thursday 6 August, Ladies Director Marjorie Dohnt hosted seven past Ladies’ Presidents and Directors for the Ladies Director Trophy. Congratulations to Vice-President and past Ladies’ President to Lorenz Thornton, who won with 39 Stableford points, ahead of runner-up Judith Holm. 👏

On Thursday 13 August, the ladies contested the Marjorie Sinclair Cup—a unique event where players carry the flag until they run out of strokes. Congratulations to our 2026 winner, Sue Jackson, who carried the flag all the way to the 19th green! 🎉

Applications for the WAGC Women’s Membership Program are closing soon, with the eight-week program beginning next week.

Designed for women ready to take the next step beyond lessons, the program will help you build confidence, develop practical on-course skills and feel prepared to step into Club and competition golf.

With guidance from WAGC golf professionals and Club representatives, you’ll learn more about scoring, rules, etiquette, course care, pace of play and course management before putting everything into practice through guided nine-hole play.

You’ll also meet other women, make new connections and experience the social and membership side of life at WAGC.

Ready to take the next step in your golf journey? ⛳️

Our Women’s Membership Program is an eight-week pathway designed to help women build confidence, develop practical on-course skills and feel ready to step into Club and competition golf.

With support from WAGC golf professionals and Club representatives, you’ll learn more about scoring, rules, etiquette, course care, pace of play and course management before putting it all into practice through guided nine-hole play.

But it’s about more than just golf. You’ll meet other women, experience the social side of WAGC, access the Clubhouse and practice facilities, and discover what it feels like to be part of a welcoming Club community.

✨ Learn the rules and etiquette
✨ Make new connections
✨ Experience life at WAGC

$699 per person

Applications are now open for our second intake of our Women’s Membership Program at The Western Australian Golf Club⛳

Thinking about becoming a member, but not quite ready to take that step on your own? This welcoming 8-week program is designed for women who are ready to move beyond beginner lessons and take the next step into club golf.

Participants will build confidence on course while learning more about golf etiquette, scoring, rules, course care, pace of play and the pathway into membership.

Two groups are available, with only 8 spots in each group. Places are limited, so we encourage you to apply early before spots fill up.
⭐Tuesday group starts 4 August
⭐Thursday group starts 6 August

$699 per person
