35km of social fun. Coffee at Kith after.

Sunday Longer / Higher: Welshpool and ZigZag
This is a well known route and about as gentle an introduction to the Perth Hills as we can devise so if you have been looking for a way to go a bit higher than you usually would, this is the one.

85km and 680m of climing with the majority being welshpool road which averages about 3.8% and has a maximum of about 8% for 150m.

Watching the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift peloton fly up the mountains has left me completely inspired and ready to ride. Let’s channel that incredible energy into our own legs.

RCCPER is organising a Perth community ride for the Rapha Women’s 100 on Sunday, 6 September 2026.
This is a completely free, inclusive, no-drop ride designed for us to share the road, chase goals, and enjoy the pure joy of cycling together.

Whether you are aiming to hit your very first major distance milestone or you just want to roll with a fantastic group of fierce friends, you are welcome here.

Friday Social: Corner of Mounts Bay and Hackett Drive 6am. 40km social pace out to the beach and back via North Freo and Karakatta. Coffee at Kith after.

Sunday Longer / Higher: Get stronger at distance or climbing, together. Canning Mills and Kalamunda this week. 85km and 900m of climbing 😅. Coffee and well earned pastries at Common on Broadway after.

Last night RCCPER swapped Lycra for party pants and tucked in to a hearty table of festive treats. Great food, great company, Tour de France on the TV, and quality time together. There was even a sneaky visit from Father Rapha who bought gifts for all the good little boys and girls who took their turn on the front and didn’t overlap wheels this year.

Christmas in July is one of the ways we celebrate that
