Geocaching Licence Plate Perth WA Updates and info for getting Geocaching licence plates in Western Australia Roy created a website (driventogeocache.ca) as well as a Facebook group.

After seeing on the net that a fellow geocacher in Ontario Canada has implemented the worlds first geocaching licence plate i Brendan (aka Helbren) though it would be a great idea to see if we can get it up and running here in WA. So far i have posted a pic of an example of what hopefully they will look like and i have also been in contact with Geocaching HQ and they are more than happy for me to

go ahead with it and also got the ok to use their logo, they will also send me the the logo in the format needed. The reply i got from HQ so far:

Hello Brendan,

I'm excited that you are thinking about this! Geocaching.com worked with a geocacher named RCA777 on a similar project for the province of Ontario. A lady in Virginia was trying to do the same thing but I think she abandoned the project. A good first step is to check with your local Department of Transportation to make sure you can fulfill their requirements. If you decide to move forward after that, we will do our best to help you with the needed logo graphic files in the correct format. Please read this relevant blog, too: Is that a Geocacher in Your Rear View Mirror? Regrettably, though we may have an option in the future, we do not currently have a way to make each license plate trackable on Geocaching.com when they're custom numbers like you're suggesting. i hope all the geocaching plates are out and about collecting all the souvenirs for the Road Trip celebrating 15 years of geocaching, here is a log on a cache a few weeks ago that made me chuckle:

Darn that Helbren!! Hahahah 4 kids in Pjs and one of us half dressed out the shower we piled in the car and flew down the highway. Helbrens unmistakeable number plate mocked us as we belted round the corner hahaha!!
2nd to find. Thanks for the cache AdventurePJ :) it actually was an adventure in our PJs!!

It's taken a while but the plate is finally on a 4WD. The reason for the delay is to the side.
