For over 40 years Surfing WA has been the governing body for all forms of surfboard riding within WA.

Another day of close heats, standout performances and plenty of young surfers putting themselves in the mix ahead of the series finale.

Congratulations to Kyuss Rimmer, who locked in the 2026 U12 Boys State Title with back-to-back event victories.

That’s a wrap on Round 2 of the Club Med WA Junior Surfing Titles presented by Think Mental Health.

Three days of competition at Trigg saw WA’s best junior surfers battle it out for crucial rankings points, event wins and State Title honours.

Congratulations to Kyuss Rimmer, who became the 2026 U12 Boys State Champion after securing his second event victory of the series.

Round 2 winners crowned today were:

πŸ₯‡ U12 Girls - Kit Vernon

With three State Champions now confirmed and several divisions still too close to call, all roads lead to Geraldton for the final stop of the series next month.

Two State Titles locked away today, with Olive Hardy (U18 Girls) and Lily Naylor (U16 Girls) going back-to back to become 2026 WA State Champions.

Day 2 at the Club Med WA Junior Surfing Titles presented by Think Mental Health

Another big day of competition at Trigg saw WA’s best junior surfers put on a show, with plenty of solid surfing, a few clean tubes and some impressive airs lighting up the lineup.

Congratulations to our newest 2026 WA State Champions:

πŸ† U16 Girls - Lily Naylor

After claiming victories in both Round 1 and Round 2, Olive and Lily have wrapped up their State Titles with one event still to come.

Round 2 event winners were also crowned today:

With several divisions still up for grabs, all eyes now turn to Geraldton next month for the final stop of the series.

Competitors were greeted with better than expected conditions with offshore winds and a fun pulse of swell at Trigg for the opening day of competition.

From first heats to standout performances, WA’s best young gun surfers made the most of the opportunity as they continue their chase for State Championship honours and valuable rankings points.
