We love helping out our school community. MBCC Primary School and High School Swimming Carnivals are coming up!! Will you be there to cheer the students on?!

Huge congratulations to the Mount Barker Amateur Swimming Club on your outstanding success at the Swimming WA Country Pennants! 🏆💙

We want to thank the club for the continued support of our swimming carnivals. The time, expertise and encouragement make a real difference for our students in and around the pool.

We value our strong partnership and are grateful for everything you do for our college community.

It has been great seeing so many MBCC students adorned with medals from the Karratha meet, and we are sending high fives to you all. Special shoutout to Year 9 Koos de Jonge for landing a special certificate at the meet for being a top achiever in Breastroke. MBCC Alumni Adam Large and Dylan Zijlstra were also recognised as top achievers for the meet. Super effort!

We are beyond grateful to The Karratha Women's Place Inc. for their incredible generosity and warm hospitality! 🤍

Dee and Fern welcomed our Mount Barker Barracudas Swimming Team with such kindness and care and it truly meant the world to us! Their support created a space where our swimmers could feel comfortable, focused and ready to give it their absolute all!

Because of that support, our team was able to perform at their very best and we are so proud to say we came home as the ‘C’ Grade Country Pennants champions in Karratha!! 🏆

The Mount Barker Barracudas have come home from the 2026 Country Pennants with not one but TWO incredible achievements under their belt!!!

There were medals everywhere you looked, smiles that wouldn’t quit, big team hugs, plenty of laughs and yes, a few tears (mostly from the dads melting in the heat🤣☀️)

What an unforgettable weekend! Every single swimmer showed heart, grit and true Barracuda spirit 🥹 From the first dive to the final relay, our team gave it absolutely everything and the results speak for themselves!

To our amazing coaches, thank you 🙏🏽 for the early mornings, the endless encouragement, the belief you pour into these kids and the hard work behind the scenes! This doesn’t happen without you 🫶🏽

To our parents, the loudest cheer squad, the chauffeurs, the snack providers, the sunscreen enforcers and the calm voices when nerves kicked in - we couldn’t do this without you!

And to our swimmers…you’ve made our whole club so incredibly proud 🖤❤️🤍

So proud to be part of such a supportive, passionate and unstoppable club!

WE’RE COMING HOME WITH THE TROPHY!!! 🏆

Mount Barker Barracudas have officially taken out FIRST PLACE in our division and we could not be prouder!!!
These kids are absolutely jingle jangling right now with medals around their necks 🥇🥈🥉 and bringing home the trophy just tops off what has been the most incredible weekend!!

They dug deep!
They backed each other!
They raced their hearts out!!
They proved they are completely UNSTOPPABLE even in the wild Karratha heat ☀️🔥

The teamwork. The sportsmanship. The determination. The smiles. It’s what it’s all about!!

We’re heading home exhausted, sun-kissed, medal-loaded…CHAMPIONS 🏆💪🏽
