1 S T C L A S S P P - and it felt amazing!!
No pressure, no expectations, just a chance to get out of the house, switch off and do something for me 😅
It was so interesting to recognise the difference from being full term riding to PP riding. I had so much room to move with no belly and I wasn’t breathless. A woman’s body is fascinating!
“How many weeks postpartum are you?”
No idea! I don’t even know what day of the week it is. Thank goodness for a diary & alarm 🤪
The other big question I was asked today.. “are you back on the schedule??”
Not yet!! But keep your eyes peeled in the coming weeks 👀 Everyone knows how much I love a Sunday ride… 😉
Disclaimer: I did require two coffees post ride and an afternoon nap. Being on the clock 24/7 is brutal but the cuddles are heavenly! Keeping an eye on my mental health and today was just the the doctor ordered 🍃 If you’re PP and reading this, don’t feel pressure, don’t question ‘why aren’t you ready yet’ - your birth may have had complications, you may still be heeling or you may still be choosing sleep over movement. That’s ok! And remember, this is my job! My body has been trained to know the bike in all conditions. But this is not a time for PB’s or pushing yourself.. it’s about filling that cup and feeling good. As our bodies have been working on overdrive, and that’s after pregnancy and giving birth. Be kind to yourself ❤️
Love my BB community and girls .__e Thank for you all the love and encouragement today! 🫶
