f Maori mythology was accredited if having retrieved from the CELESTIAL ABODE OF IO (God of all things). The basket relates to us in modern society where we are able to utilise the sources of knowledge of both Maori and Pakeha. The fruits are the same, both good and bad. The objective is to seek the good from both and dicard the bad. The basket represents a Putea (grant or scholarship fund) which will be available on application to Dove Promotions for promising young New Zealands wishing to advance in the field of sport (represented by the ball), education (book), arts (paint brush) and MANAIA (carved figure representing Maori culture), these are all contained in the basket.
