Claremont Yacht Club Situated at the head of Freshwater Bay on the Swan River, Claremont Yacht Club Incorporated is a private yacht club rich in history, dating back to 1905.

Claremont Yacht Club has a deep commitment to the boating traditions. It was founded in 1905 by visionary yachtsmen who enjoyed the companionship of those who shared their enthusiasm for boating and their love of the sea. Since then, the Club has developed into a full-service operation embracing all forms of boating activities within the community, earning a reputation of being one of the friendli

est clubs on the Swan River. The membership reflects the club’s heritage and that of the local area, including business and professional people from all parts of WA; local families, and social groups. C*C is controlled by Members and each Member has a voice in the use and care of the club’s facilities and services.

What a fantastic way to launch the Power Season! ⚓☀️

From the booming start as John fired the dual shotgun shells across Bovell Green, to a perfect sunny morning shared with members, competitors, volunteers and friends. Power Opening Day truly had it all.

After opening speeches from our Commodore and Vice Commodore, the traditional Sail Past officially marked the beginning of the season! We then powered straight into the 1st Time Trial State Heat of the year, with 8 C*C boats competing in a strong showing for the club. 🚤

The celebrations didn’t stop there, with our Social Committee hosting a brilliant cocktail party in the Deepdene. Great company, plenty of laughs, tall stories and dancing late into the night made for an unforgettable finish to the day. 🍸🎶

A huge thank you to all our volunteers, staff, members and supporters who help bring days like this to life. Your passion and commitment are what make our club so special. Here’s to an incredible season ahead! 🙌

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for our Mother's Day Buffet and helped make the day so special. From delicious food to beautiful moments shared with family and friends, it was truly a celebration to remember.
