We play 9 holes on Sundays at different public courses in Perth (March - December) Golf Bags is a ladies golf club that meets to play 9 holes on Saturday or Sundays at selected golf courses in the Perth WA region. This year we are playing at the following rotating golf courses throughout the Perth region: Collier Park, Point Walter, Hamersley and Wembley. Our playing season commences starts the fi
rst weekend in March and runs through to mid-December. We are a social group of women, with a range of experience and skill levels, and use of the handicapping system helps in providing a level playing field for all members. We do ask that you have a min. advanced beginners level knowledge of the game with some playable experience. The only reason we ask of this is due to public golf courses being extremely busy on weekends, so all players must be diligent and capable to handle a faster-paced game keeping up with groups in front of them. Cost wise, to join the GBGC including associated affiliation fees (which allows you the get a handicap with Golfing Australia) and weekly prizes for first place, Nearest to Pin and Longest Drive is $100pa plus game day green fees (which vary between $20-30). We recommend joining GBGC for a few games to see if our club is the right fit for you (membership fees won’t be payable until after this.)
