It’s starting to make sense now why Japanese women’s hockey team didn’t do as well as I honestly expected. What a enlightening article Ashley Morrison. I bet it wasn’t easy writing.
It’s Amazing how so many things kept happening with no accountability.

What a sad sad day for hockey in Japan.

I’ve been travelling to Japan and worked alongside many of those athletes and watch them develop. Watch the nations hockey hopes flourish over the last 3/4 years. They were so exciting to wAtch. Both men and women from many company teams, Universities, School Teams and remote regions. For them to go through such a horrid year just shatters their hopes of not just the athletes but everyone who plays hockey in Japan.

One can only hope things improve and JHA make some better decisions moving forward.

As much as the Tokyo Games were a success, in that they went ahead at all and the athletes managed to complete their events, the way that they have been portrayed outside of Japan has been very dif…

Athletes are under extreme pressures with so many factors that effect performance. Let me help you decide the pathway that can give you a better understanding of sport, expectations and dealing with setbacks.

I’ve been lucky to coach such a wide variety of players from grass roots to Masters players all
over the world. it’s now time to share the knowledge to you.

Having the knowledge of such a large range of people , over so many walks of life, I’ve learned so much from them, just as much as they learn from me…. I hope.

How do you balanace it all?

One things for sure- your will need to work hard to change it. Make no mistake- life doesn’t come easy and the quicker you learn that, the better off you will be.

Do something that may assist you in having a clearer picture of where you want to be in the future.

Here is a simple exercise you can do with any number where players touch the ball msny times, work on their elimination skills and can get a work out. Again for a warm up.
You don’t even need a cone.
Good 1.5m distance always away.

Our local hockey association has numerous representative teams. In addition to this, we have clubs that are always looking for extra International experiences, game play and of course, our specialty is delivering some great training camps for you.
All you need to do is contact us. We can arrange many great experiences, friendships and competition to suit all your needs.
Juniors, Seniors or even Masters teams are welcome to visit, whenever our boarders open.

Happy EAster Everyone! Hope everyone is safe and sound.
Haven’t posted much on here due to the amount of content going out via some other media outlets I’m currently involved in.
I’ve been creating You tube videos for my club - UWA Hockey Club and created a you tube channel.
Ita been going for 3 weeks now and you are all welcome to view the channel. UWA Hockey Club channel.
UWA is my home club and the one of the most prestigious clubs in Western Australia.
I am currently the Director of Hockey there and been hard at work ensuring that our members are getting the development they need through these uncertain times.
