Big shout out to my client Amelia. Amelia has been training with me twice a week for 2.5 years now. When she started she weighed 85kg and was very unfit. She suffered from back pain and had limited mobility in her shoulders, hips and ankles. Through determination, consistency and focus, Amelia managed to lose 19kg. She now can do 5 strict chinups and deadlifts her own body weight with ease. She started to do Crossfit and loves working out. This is what she had to say about her fitness journey.
"I started doing personal training with Robin around 2.5 years ago. Back then I weighed around 85kgs, had a terrible lower back and poor overall general mobility. I chose Robin as a PT because he wasn’t your typical “meat head all about the gains” type of PT and he seemed more than willing to work with me despite my limitations.... he even told me that he could help me with my mobility and back issues! I was sceptical at the time, but signing up to a year of PT sessions twice a week changed my life. I now weigh 66kgs, but to be honest I don’t care about the number on the scale anymore. I am now fit, strong, haven’t seen a physio for my back in almost a year and I can touch my toes!! I have included a before and after(x2) photo which shows my weight loss and new found passion for fitness. But what the photos can’t show is just how much happier and I am now and how much my quality of life has improved. I couldn’t have done it without Robin!!"
