💯 100 GAMES FOR HARVEY 💙🤍

A huge congratulations to Harvey on reaching the incredible 100 game milestone for the Cats! Highly competitive, fast, agile and seriously skilled, Harvey is a hugely versatile player. He does plenty of his best work down back but is just as comfortable moving onto the wing — and certainly doesn’t mind sneaking forward to slot a few goals!

Harvey’s footy knowledge extends beyond playing too, with plenty of time spent umpiring and giving back to the game. A fantastic achievement from a talented footballer who absolutely loves his footy.

Congratulations on 100 games, Harvey — an awesome milestone!

What a HUGE win for our Year 8 boys, knocking off an undefeated West Coast to claim the Grand Final! The game was set up by an enormous third quarter effort, holding West Coast scoreless while kicking against the breeze. Then, with the wind at their backs in the final term, the Cats had a great run on piling on the goals to seal an incredible victory.

An outstanding team performance and a premiership these boys will remember for a very long time.

🏆 YEAR 9 GRAND FINAL DERBY 🏆

Congratulations to our Year 9 teams on a brilliant game of footy. Pure class. Pure sportsmanship. Absolute credits to our club.

A nail biter from siren to siren our White team were the victors. The fourth quarter was absolutely epic, with our Blues mounting a huge charge and giving it everything right to the final siren, falling just 6 points short.

Congratulations Whites and commiserations to our Blues — an outstanding effort from both teams and a Grand Final our club can be incredibly proud of.

Join us down at the club tomorrow arvo from 2pm as we get together to celebrate all of our incredible grand final teams — our premiers and our courageous contenders AND our wonderful dads for Fathers’ Day.

The BBQ will be fired up, the drinks will be cold and it’s the perfect chance to wind down after a huge grand final weekend and celebrate together.

Tomorrow it’s our boys’ turn, with an incredible FOUR Cats teams taking to the field in their grand finals!

Two Cats teams. One Grand Final. What an unbelievable achievement for our club and a brilliant reflection of the strength, depth and spirit of our playing group.

Can you imagine having not one, not two but THREE members of your family playing in Grand Finals on the same weekend?! Neither can we… but that’s exactly the situation the Cannon family finds themselves in this weekend!

A huge congratulations to Alyssa, Flynn and Bayley Cannon, who will all pull on the Cats jumpers and play in their respective Grand Finals this weekend.

Alyssa is playing in our historic Yr 11/12 girls game at 7:30 tonight at McDonald Reserve, Bayley is playing at 9:00 Sunday at Carine Regional Open Space and Flynn is playing in our DERBY grand final 11:00 Sunday at Charles Riley Reserve.

What an incredible achievement for the Cannon household — we can only imagine the nerves, excitement and pride in their house this week! Best of luck, Alyssa, Flynn and Bailey. The whole Cats community is behind you!
