An aggressive opening batsman who has played International Cricket now for 10 years. I have played multiple World Cup Qualifiers in both the T20I / List A & ODI formats, playing and beating teams such as Zimbabwe, UAE, USA, Oman, Nepal, Afghanistan, Ireland, Scotland, Netherlands etc. At the time of writing, i currently hold a List A average of 43, ODI average of 32 and have scored over 820 T20I runs since we were given T20I status a couple years ago & over 850 List A runs since these stats started about 3 seasons ago. I also hold a T20I bowling economy of 5 along with career best figures in List A cricket of 5/13. I was also the youngest player to ever play for Jersey at age 15 making my debut against Oman, which also makes me one of the youngest players to ever play international cricket.
I have also won multiple Player of the Tournaments & MOMβs in ICC World Cup Pathway events.
I also spent my junior days in the Sussex County academy pathway up to the age of 19.
Coaching -
On the coaching front, back home I am currently assistant head coach for our National Under 19 side that partake in final World Cup qualifying events yearly and also play tri-series against the likes of Ireland & Scotland regularly. I am ECB Level 2 qualified
My coaching philosophy is to develop the players all round game including the mental side and to focus on βwhyβ a player is doing something and then go from there. With a lot of younger players if you help them identify the βwhyβ then they are able to see much more clearly how they are going to fix something
